Hello from the Antipodes..i have a oil on canvas painting 85X55 cm.. dated 1898 by W.O Trivitt.. I bought it to Australia nr.. 50 yers ago..i have just had varnish removal and cleaned.. looking majestic as ever...Me and my mates use to visit the Major in the early 60s.. i am a Hyson Green lad Nottingham ... hi from Australia....

Beautiful tree and girl, been to the great oak at Alton once there’s now nothing left of it hope doesn’t become of this one .

As a boy I stood inside this tree with several other people. This would have been in the late 50's long before it was fenced off.

She's still going strong.

If the tree is 1000 years old it would still be 100-200 years old or more during Robin's life.

I been there I went mountain biking in Sherwood Forest I also have a Robin Hood costume I sang a Robin Hood song with my guitar dressed as Robin Hood it's on my channel you should take a look nice video.
