Sherwin Creek Campground has 87 single-family (mixed-used) campsites and is located in the Mammoth Lakes area in the Inyo National Forest. Campsites are large and can accommodate trailers/RVs from 27 to 60 feet (most in the 35 to 40 range). The campground is organized into 3 loops among mature Jeffrey pines and adjacent to the creek. Campsites 1 to 15 are 'walk-to' tent-only.
Most campsites are reservable, but some are first-come, first-served. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Several sites are tent-only. Each campsite also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.
