It's a hard job being a single parent. It's also rewarding. Most kid's will appreciate the tough love when they mature ❤

I was a single parent of 3, from the age of 13 - 17 I did not like my kids😂😂😂 those tween and teen years were rough, but we made it though 🙏🏾 Thank You Jesus! 😂

A huge major drawback to this new parenting mess is the freedom of children to dictate, demand, and insist. I'll be damned if my snot-nosed kid is able to force his wishes or preferences on me. I am the ultimate authority, and talking to me crazy or bucking up to me will get azz kicked and kicked hard. New parenting doesn't work. These parents clearly see it but are committed to the BS.

I agree the hormones are raging I am a single mother too I have a teenager boy and get the pushback constantly for no reason that mouth and true he thinks he knows everything.Sherri everything you said I been there and still going through this now he can’t wait until he 18 . The mouth every day but I stand strong and put God first he will bring me through this phase

Sherrie, you are right these children don't know Mom has to work...Would he have even been open to what she was saying 2 years ago??? He's going to regret that he disrespected his mother on camera later in life...😪😪😪

True!! There’s a limit! You should definitely be loving and nice to your kids, but when you’re acting too much like their friend, they act out. Always draw a line!
