The expansion fixes most of the problems you have with the game. In my eyes it is a necessary addition. I'd get it while you can. 2nd edition only includes some of the components from Merry Men.

This is the one of the few videos I've seen with literally no dislikes, absolute legends

I wonder if you should check out the expansion. It's a series of modules that you can add as you choose, all of which dramatically increase the benefit of smuggling contraband goods, encouraging you to play them a lot more. Also, where did you request the replacement baggies? Mine are quite worn now too, with two of them having damaged buttons. The expansion adds a sixth character, and I felt the bag is a bit sturdier.

We'll have to check out the expansion at some point! It's been on my (Ashton) list for a while. I emailed Arcane Wonders customer support about 4 years ago to get the replacements. Not sure if they do the replacements anymore though. Best of luck!

I want to like this game more than I do. Everybody else in my group seems to really enjoy it but it just never clicked with me personally.

It definitely requires a more role-play-y mindset- its not something to heavily strategize to win, and is very very focused on negotiation -Ashton

7.5/10 almost a 8 for me but I wish it had more to the game. You simply put stuff in a bag and give it to the sheriff. If your the sheriff you just try to guess if there’s illegal items in the bag. Though it’s pretty good. ( I didn’t finish the review so if they said the same thing don’t say I copied them.)

ahaha we did say something a little similar- its like there's nothing to break up the round sequence of just doing the same thing over and over again. Cheers! -Ashton

Expansion adds more "gamey" moments, like characters with abilities

Can you make the actual review part louder? It's a bit hard to watch when some parts you talk really softly and some parts its just really loud. Subs would be a nice addition

Literally, I bought the 1st edition on eBay second hand even if the bags are supposedly a little worse cause the artwork on the new one is awful
