Back in the nineties, I was a democrat,USW, PAC fundraiser, I was sent to DC with other reps to meet Specter/Santorum to voice our opposition to NAFTA. Santorum said it was the wave of the future and we needed to learn to swim. This you don’t have a choice attitude pissed me off and Specter got between Santorum and myself and calmed us down. After the meeting I was approached and asked if I was receptive to running for office. I asked how would I do it as that is the one thing you aren’t taught in civics. He said I would need to raise 50,000 dollars to be considered and prove I was serious. Where is a dude in a union job making 9.35 an hour going to get fifty grand? The dude just walked away from me and never looked back. That’s when I deep dived the party and Union. Wound up leaving both. If you tell the USW to NOT spend your dues on non representative activities you become a BECK OBJECTOR and loose your member in good standing(basically have your card pulled). You get to keep working and only pay 70 odd percent of normal dues but have no representation unless you pay them an hourly pay rate. IF they take your grievance.

My thought is, who will become Sheriff of Pinal County with Lamb gone? As for Lake, she is the actual elected Governor, and I seriously doubt Hobbs will will complete the term, but that won't get Lake into the office. There is no voter integrity in some of the counties in Arizona. Grijalva is a prime example of this.
