Shenzhen, referred to as "Shen", also known as Pengcheng, is a prefecture-level city, a sub-provincial city, a city specifically designated in the state plan, and a megacity under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. Innovation center, regional financial center, business logistics center. There is plenty of sunshine and abundant rainfall. Shenzhen is one of the four major central cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a national logistics hub, an international comprehensive transportation hub, an international technology industry innovation center, and one of China's three major national financial centers. , a comprehensive national science center, and a global ocean center city.
The earliest predecessor of Shenzhen was Bao'an County, Guangzhou Prefecture, with local Hakka culture and Lingnan culture. A special economic zone, a window of China's reform and opening up and an emerging immigrant city, it has created the "Shenzhen Speed" that has attracted worldwide attention, and is known as "China's Silicon Valley". 1978年第一次到深圳,哪個新園路口少年宮戲院很像是個大穀倉改建,東門解放路很久以前已經有,後期才有華西宮,全中國第一間麥當勞,解放路口有間新華書店當時餐館過了吃飯時間是沒飯吃的...然後1987年我就在深圳工作....😄😄

Shekou is getting better and better, as I can see. I was here in 2013. Hard to believe how it has changed. Walmart and Decathlon are still on Nanhai blvd, though.

I've just found the cheapest way of traveling! For real, though, this city is mind-blowing. Everything looks so tidy and clean and safe and well put together. Really impressive and fascinating. I can almost feel like I'm there, taking that night drive in Shenzhen with you.
