A good question would be how she managed to improve from a pb of 11.35 to 10.70 in less than a year. It is impossible without a shed full of cobwebs being the entire drug testing centre in Jamaica. She comes across as a really nice lady and her image is great for the sport but we all know what was going on so dont expect her to run any faster than 11 flat nowadays IF they do have drug testing now.

Sorry to spoil your illusion, both Bolt and Shelley improved by a crazy amount over one year, Bolt goes from a 9.9 runner to a 9.6, Shelley goes from 11.35 to 10.7 an even bigger margin. Now think of FloJo she improved from 10.9 to 10.6. (ignore the windy 10.49) Shelley improved more than she did over a shorter period of time and we all know the FloJo story. Also think of how many Jamaicans were all of a sudden running the best times in history... Carter, Powell, Ashmeade, Blake, Bolt, Shelley, Mullings.. all running 9.8 or better all from the same small area in Jamaica AS IF THEY WERE ALL ON THE SAME DRUGS.... Not to mention more than one of them failing a drugs test Bolt had to give a relay medal back because someone from his team was definitely doped up. It confirms there were definitely drugs going around in that small circle of athletes in Jamaica and they were good enough to make the ones caught run 9.7 Look it up, try to find the Jamaican drug testing center back in 2008-2012 you wont find one. Then look up the story of disgraced sprinter Tim Montgomery and how he was given a professional doping programme to specifically break the world record, the fastest he ever ran was 9.78. Yet all of a sudden theres 5-6 Jamaicans who can all run that time or quicker!!! If you think they are clean ... find the facts. Im not hating on the athletes I think they are great people and athletics is good because of their hard work etc but it is also important not to make fools out of people by thinking they are running clean, Im also saying the USA and other athletes running suspicious times arent clean either, but the Jamaicans are the most obvious since the GDR in the 80's.

If I remember right, Bolt couldn't break 10.1 back in 06/07 and then started to run several tenths faster in every race culminating with the 9.58 world record. Carl Lewis was highly critical of Bolt.
