Shellharbour Marina NSW NOW OPEN
Shellharbour Marina in Shell Cove is finally open and WOW what a development.
It took me about 30mins to walk around the whole marina and on the way there was numerous parks, benches, seating and water bubblers (these also have a bowl down the bottom for dogs)
Currently there is Woolworths, a bakery, barber, ice cream shop, fish and chip shop and a few other cafes and bars and also the Tavern which is still in development.
Also in development will be a hotel, community centre, library. marina services & numerous dining precints.

The Waterfront, Shell Cove boasts a 270 berth world-class marina with direct access to the Tasman Sea offering charter boat operations, a lively town centre, marina berths, dry stack storage, a public boat ramp and a variety of commercial marina facilities and services including:
- Wet marina berths in varying sizes and dry stack storage
- Boat haul out and hard stand
- Ship chandlers and boat maintenance workshop
- Fuelling, maintenance and service facilities
- Sewerage pump out
- Public boat ramp with trailer parking
- Direct access to the Tasman Sea
Shellharbour Marina has recently opened with 145 berths, with the additional 125 berths to be constructed as demand dictates.
The harbour basin measures an area of approximately 12Ha. That’s approximately 30% larger than Darling Harbour.
The edge of the harbour is a distance of 2.5km and publicly accessible right around from the end of the breakwall through to the end of the groyne.
Approximately 87% of the labour used to construct the Shell Cove project to date has been sourced from the local region.

Nice but, on occasions, the panning of the camera is too fast. It’s the Shellharbour Marina not the Shell Cove Marina. Otherwise, very good and we wait for more of your videos as the place develops.

Hi Rosemary thanks for the feedback I really do appreciate it. Great pick up I'll update that now I keep calling it Shell Cove because of the area my mistake. I'm still learning a lot with camera footage but I will definitely take your advice on future videos. Thanks again have a wonderful day.
Before this was a marina it was a lagoon which sometimes opened to the sea.I used to catch a heap of mullet here and used them for bait to catch blue swimmer crabs on the south beach. Some Italian men would go here from port Kemble and catch huge eels.

There’s a heap of fish in the Marina now not sure of the species, looked like whiting but could be mullet they look similar don’t they?

Probably mullet, whiting are hard to see as they swim on the bottom, mullet on the surface.
Anyone know if you can fish off the breakwalls?

Hi mate, yes did see some fish in there in groups swimming around not sure what species but some were quiet big
The marina is a lego land..seriously..no parking for miles .. houses cramped in with narrow roads .. the place is overpriced and over rated

Lego land not quiet yet wait until all the development is finished then it will be 😂 I seen a block of land for the sale few months back and it was 1.7mil crazy 😝
Place is a disaster newest lego land in shellharbour area.. housing like sardines..parking is a nightmare..the planning is a mess
