Thank you for the helpful video. What about wind perpendicular to the elevation of piperack. Like a connecting open bridge. In this condition how can we consider shielding coeff??

If 5 pile in one direction.... Wind load act on first pile ...what is reduction factor of that load in next pile

why has nobody designd wind diversion designs to redirect the wind load downwards to prevent sheer and lift. prevent all damage from wind

What if the structure is having vertical geometric irregularity ? Say if we have frames of different elevations how is wind going to change ?

What if the grometry changes ? Say if we have frame spacing as 2m in 1st bay and 4m & 6m in consequtive bays, how the wind is going to change ?

Why to consider same wind force on 2nd and consequtive frames ? Though it is given in indian code, but wont the wind will reduce as we move furthur on ?

what is the probability of the wind exactly act normal to the web of the 1st Frame?

that's the max force can be applied on web...not from probability point of view

What if the wind is coming not perpendicular to frames , but let say 15 degrees? Than this shielding calculation does not work?
