First few pulls civic gave him the sauce. .. And 2nd .3rd and 4th gear they we're about the same .on top of forth or fifth is when the stang started to open up. .. At the drag stip.. !! 🤡🤡

Would like to see a dyno done to see actual numbers. And plus to learn where your best torque range is at. Also with the amount of pulls and abuse done. Your tires might have had it. They dont last long mileage wise. Try a fresh set with slightly lower pressure than whatever you have em at. See if you can hook then

Now my Honda is no slouch, it's running a fully bolted J35 with J32A2 pistons, heads, cams making well in excess of 300 horsepower, but it couldn't even dream of being on this level of fast. Respect to you. Greetings from Russia.

@@Autoblox0 when I was running just the J32A2 with bolt ons I was pushing a bit over 300 at the crank. Since then I've installed rods and a crank from a J35A1 (the most basic version, but it doesn't really matter), and upgraded to a 74 mm throttle body, I'd imagine it's a bit more than 300 now.

Always nice to see a Civic done right. Pretty quick and I bet a blast to drive.

Nice sleeper I love your content , not sure if you have looked into but if you want to hook up better while retaining the stock look . Go to a suspension shop and some stiffer springs even something from a different vehicle like a truck or the like . Keeping the rear end from squating on launch will help keep the weight over the front tyres.

That first one with the 350 he thought he was driving an auto and forgot to shift he was so shocked 😂😂😂

Man that’s a slick Si. My little brother had a 2014 Si and it wasn’t stock but not built, and it was a fun little car. I think Civic Si models will become classics in a few years and the values will be ridiculous in time. Back in 99 I bought a 91 240SX SE off a bud for $2500 and it was cherry. It was a hatchback in Misty Blue with the Super Hicas that worked great on the car. I converted the front end to the S15 style and swapped in a SR20 turbo with a HKS down pipe and exhaust. Where I lived at the time it was one of the quickest cars around. Man I miss those days

300hp was pretty much he limit for fwd for a long time but lsds and tires have come quite far but will only get you around 350hp as max usable horsepower according to most of the forums I've read. Drags or an awd kit from a company like S1Built. They make clean kits and are really up to date on letting the community know their progress or problems they have encountered. They make sick trailing arms and a kit for the bb6 prelude even... (what i want) they are gunna make blanks sso we can go rwd.. the prelude owners dream.

Ngl I never really been a civic fan, I’ve always had rwd cars(240sx, 300zx, bmw 335i) but channels like this one and 2point2turbo have really been changing my mind on the platform. Almost did this with Kraft works on my old Honda Fit… but I traded my fit in and bought a fiesta st. You have the perfect civic. Sounds incredible nice vid.

My goal is to build a fast daily driveable civic si similar to this. Not a sleeper tho. Either a 8th gen sedan like this or a 9th gen sedan. Daily driving a stage 3 clutch is wild tho, especially with less than 500 hp, seems like overkill. Dope build 👍

I owned a 2017 Gt 350 and it sounds great but not the best at having low down torque to get going. Great race.

That last race with the mustang was so good😩

Wheels, Tires, and Suspension (essentially the whole fitment deal) do a lot for helping the car hook up 👍 Also sway bar bushings and motor mounts and all that other good stuff that makes the car more rigid and feel stuck to the road.

Wow... that was a good run vs the GT350. Few relatively light mods on the civic make a huge difference. Did you even change any internals, besides maybe lower compression pistons?

I appreciate you and your content < Technical Analysis is good but I find It truly baffling that major crypto youtubers just look mostly at pure T.A and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumps/pumped and why the future outlook will be even rosier than it seems. You need drag radials on a car making less than 500hp? I think the issue is the 7.5 inch wide wheels you’re running, throw some 18x10 rpf 1’s and a decent 255 tire on there. Should be more than enough to hook

Tires I recommend Nitto NT01 had them on my 560whp gti and they were amazing. The prices aren’t bad either for what they are. I had r888 before and they don’t even compare
