And to think I bought her 1st album with her Pops way back in the 70s, before Prince or George Duke. Had never heard her play but she had a look, cain't put my finger on it,kinda like the one at the end of this performance. That album opened up a whole nother neighborhood of music to me. Look forward to playing with you one day. And Wethanksya for all the LOVE and HEALING you brought to Chicago at Taste of WVON we need you back.....bad. Always loved you.

Best live version of this glamorous song (IMO of course). Use headphines, I love how the recording sounds. Bass, guitar, sax, of course percussions all sound great! I saw her shows a couple times at Yoshi's in Oakland CA - her hometown. We Bayarean do love you, Sheila! I saw many amazing musicians including my hero Bill Bruford, Cobham, Smith but I have to say her shows were the most exciting, entertaining, engaging! Ive read her book which I strongly recommend you to read. If you guessed her life has been all glamorous, you will be surprised. Her emotion we can see in this footage is genuine. 4:58. 5:59. 6:10 Appreciation for her fans and her life itself. When I heard this song for the first time in 80s (and in Korea), I was a boy. 30+ something years later, I still get goosebumps when I listen to this gem. Thanks, Sheila, thank you Prince for your legacy.
