Why would he leave when his religion is in favour with him?!! When Jesus said all the other laws and prophets hung upon the greatest commandment, I'm pretty sure Jesus declared a fundamental point on living on good principles. The underlying point that I want to make is that because the new covenant declared an understanding of laws (in general), based on principles, we now have a basis to define our lifestyles. What do I mean? Contemporary Judaism has the Mosaic Law, and Islam has the Sharia Law; their laws spell out the lifestyles for them. But, Christianity is the only Abrahamic religion to have shown that lifestyles can be naturally formulated as long we live on the greatest commandment or on good principles. For example, in the greatest commandment, "with all your mind" (among the other aspects to be exerted) can be easily inferred that with our greatest minds and intellectual effort that we can achieve a healthy lifestyle (hence science). Christianity is indeed different from Islam in the sense that the point of living is to also actuate (human) potential.

Islam has no problem with science and the Qur'an continually instructs man to think, ponder, reason. To look to the horizons and within ourselves for the truth. Xtianity sold out to government and is dying because of that pact with limited powerbrokers. They've (government) chipped away at the morality of the people and society. (Gambling, booze, YOLO, debt, sex on tap, legalised drugs etc) "bob the builder" speaks about this and calls for a "muscular xtianity", to fight back. He obviously has no chance on that score. It's too late for xtianity but Islam is on the rise. Proscribed Guidance from the Immortal Creator is what man needs, not a God that dies naked on a pole.

However, your generalization is pretty apparent, which makes it not accurate. The New Testament is very clear in defining a Christian, which essentially calls to reflect off of the New Testament teachings (as a Muslim to the Quran and the sunnah of Muhammad). So, what you just asserted about Christianity is just false, along with other inaccurate depictions... I will just say that the greatest commandment reflects the personality of God, and for Islam to prescribe guidance is rather a pathetic twist of reality of who God is (in my view), since it seems like Allah has a poor expectation on actuated human potential.

Ihave said time amd time again if muslims are to quote Surah 3:3 and argue that allah is the god of the Torah and Gospels then they have to accept all thatt is written in the Torah including Numbers 31:15-18 about God commanding Moses to kill women and children which is a well know passage that muslims quote to criticise the bible! They should also accept what Jesus said in the gospels that God was his Father John 5:16-18 and in Matthew 17: 1-8 the Father said that Jesus was his Son and we must listen to him - the Pharisees did not listen then and the muslim are not listening now!
