In Josey Rebelle's sets, genre boundaries lose meaning by the minute. In the hands of the Londoner, different styles are woven into a coherent flow. Resident Advisor once called Berlin DJ Sven von Thülen "one of Berlin's best-kept secrets." I saw Josey Rebelle 1 week ago in Berghain, it was unforgettable. She is calm and focused, her techno is so hypnotical and deep. Her entire set was madness.

Sick, never heard of Josey Rebelle, but she killed it. I have tons of Shed stuff, but this is the first set I've ever seen him spin, and it was great. Also, I have to say that the combination of techno and airports is perfect (empty and abandoned or those currently in use).

Der erste Mix von Josey Rebelle hat mich beeindruckt. Von meinem geliebten Detroit-Techno zu Acid-Techno. War mir gar nicht bewusst, dass es heute noch so gut produzierten Acid gibt. Geil. Shed war enttäuschend. Meine mich an ein Interview von ihm erinnern zu können, in dem er sinngemäß sagte „Sample Packs sind O.K. - wurde eh schon alles mal gemacht“. Tja - diese Einstellung merkt man deinem Sound mittlerweile auch an. Aber den Mix von Josey Rebelle feiere ich.
