With online resumes there's usually a place they ask how much you would like to make. Do you answer that question or live it blank? What if it's a compulsory question? I feel that's where they get people.

@@thureyat8275 If I can't leave that space blank then I always add a number higher than they're offering. If they don't have a salary then I research a number and still price higher 📈

Yeah, I give it up for parents who are able to start a successful business while raising kids. Things got so much more challenging for me and Monica when we had our son, so every day is a struggle but we gotta keep pushing forward for the kids and for ourselves.

Awesome video! Can definitely relate to Ellaine a lot. My family is also Filipino and finance wasn’t really talked about, it was always “save your money until retirement” and essentially rely on your 9-5. But what if something happens and you lose your job? This is why having multiple streams of income is so important. When I had my first job (also retail haha! target though, not forever 21 😂) I would definitely somewhat indulge since i had access to things I didn’t have before as a child. Anyways, I’m not sure if it’s a cultural or a class thing considering that a lot of Filipinos are just trying to make ends meet when immigrating here to the states, but a lot of us just were not aware of these financial topics. I have to give credits to my husband for teaching me about finances and how to invest in the stock market. The end goal is financial freedom!

Yes, I also got my PA +FNP through Stanford School of Medicine...sadly, Stanford only focuses on the PA track now. So, glad I did it years ago.

it's not about being someone else's b...it's about feeling valued. If you, your wife, her, or her kids became sick or what have you, you'd want nurses (b's) to take care of you all.. People that don't mind being someone else's b. Be careful and sensitive and classy with the language that you use. Everyone is not meant to be an owner or operate in entrepreneurship BUT we all still matter. And it's very much a thing & will be remembered when leaders & entrepreneurs need services. Remain humble & classy
