This is so true - I grew up always overweight due to medical issues; my first husband always told me various things that would devastate my self-image. Finally, I met a man who loved me as I was, and supported my through bariatric surgery; I am now healthier, and in his eyes, still as beautiful as I was when he met me. Being accepted as you are inspires you to be the best YOU you can be.

There was no takeaway message, just a mess! They tried to make the beginning funny, and it was just disgusting. Not one time did the ML or anyone else stand up for the public humiliation of the FL at the wedding. Then after she gets thin and does that terrible dance, the ML wants to save face for the other girl, saying she’ll be made fun of by the public. Seriously, why didn’t you think that about your own wife? Saying nothing is the same as joining in with the bullying. ML has no redeeming qualities. At the end she became what someone else wanted or perceived as beauty to be loved. 👎🏾

I agree when she was bigger . he hurt mentally, and he was embarrassed by her and tried to make her stay in the house. So no one saw her then when she lost all the weight at first he stood by the evil girls side then when he found out her true identity then he was all like I want to be with u acting like some hero like seriously he only changed his mind once she became thin and realizing she is from a rich background the ml is stupid

I just find this drama completely unnecessary and backhanded. He literally made fun of her when she was bigger and sided with that "pick me" mentality, not taking her seriously. But when it came to her losing weight, he suddenly pays attention to her. This is what I meant by the male lead being an actual joke. Look at the way he's clinging to her now, trying to get with her after the weight loss - what a joke. How damn biased. If the male lead didn't love the old her, there is absolutely no reason they should be together. Now that the female lead gains confidence and realizes that he’s just a damn idiot, he’s being hella hypocritical & acting all shocked because she’s refusing to do anything with him. What's the reason behind this? Drama its pointless, I mean look at this 32:47 his ego, is BIG ASL. “You lost weight for me, and now you’re dancing I know.” I wouldn’t even forgive someone like this or get with him because he’s the type of guy to get the female lead pregnant, and once she gains major birth weight, he would body shame her. This drama conveys nothing but beauty standards and suggests that he doesn’t love her for who she is. This isn’t a glow-up. There are plenty of dramas that didn’t have the best portrayal of beauty standards and insecurity issues/weight loss, but this one makes me shut up - this is worse portrayal I’ve ever seen 3/10

Agree! So frustrating how these writers portray the FLs' characters in these short dramas...many of the dramas are ruined by the FL's lack of a spine...but, thankfully, there are a few(not enough, imo) good dramas that allow the FL's to have a brain, strength and wealth...we just have to weed thru these weak, meek, dumb &pathetic FL's to find them😢😅 but even w/those good qualities, many are ruined by the writers making the FL be powerless against the 2FL& the ML😑

why do all FLs become even lesss powerful when they resume their wealthy statuses? Also why is everyone afraid of FLs powerful families but when they find out the FL is actually a family member all the fear goes away and actually the families do nothing to protect her? And when they do, the damage is already severe. I see this in almost all dramas

I enjoyed this different drama. Good acting on all parts. It seemed to move along at a fast pace. And a nice ending.

At 2:47 those photographers, reporters, and other complainers are so nasty and unprofessional; they don’t look that great themselves. The grandfather really forced the groom to marry her. Looking forward to the rest of the CDrama. It appears to be the current trend now to have actresses put on fat suits and other necessary make up plots to look heavy for the show.

Being morbidly obese is not healthy. He did not know his wife when he married her as the wedding was the first time they met. When he told her to take a look at herself in the mirror.....he was correct in telling her that. She didn't even have clothes that fit her, so she obviously did not realize what her appearance was. She could have embraced her largeness and wore fashionable clothes that fit her and accentuated her beauty. The way she squeezed into clothes that split at the seams makes one think she had no self repect. He apparently had no interaction with her when he went off to film, so he could not even have fallen in love with her when she was heavy. He clearly was in "awe" thinking that she lost all that weight for him! As far as the weight loss in such a short time.....there must be some magic in that braclet😅!

So she was not in a healthy state of mind, or she would have had clothes that fit her. There are so many large women who embrace their largeness and so many super skinny women who think they are not skinny enough. Society puts so much pressure on women to "look" a certain way. Women just need to accept themselves the way they are and be happy.

After reading comments,I watched the movie to see what the fuss is about.Being fat or thin or love. After watching it,I can clearly say it was not all about being fat and then diet to get thin. For her it was about love.Love because she did not want to loose her husband.Being fat gave her a low self esteem.She alone decided she wants to be slim for her husband. In real life many a woman chose to take care of her image to please her man.Yes it was a sore point for her husband but he still cared in his way.He saw his wife for who she really is. She on the other hand loved him and ate less to please him .Nothing wrong with that. I have nothing against fat or overweight people but please leave those who wants to better themselves alone .
