OMG of all the stories I have ever watched, this made me literally bawl! I understand what Ene experienced, unfortunately, I can relate to similar evils & then some. Unfortunately just blindly trusting so-called family members who claim to love your children and promise to care for them as you do is a HUGE mistake many parents make. Be diligent in popping in to check on your children, & without giving the caretakers any warning, it can possibly protect them from unnecessary trauma & be lifesaving. TRUST NO ONE!!

This story pissed me off. A grown man propositioning a child and treating her like crap because she turned down the advances. Along with the mother treating a child in this manner is insane. Cruelty at its finest and denying her sanitary napkins for her period. She should be home with her mother.😢

This is a very sad story; I felt so bad for poor little Ene, she was so young and pretty. What a tragedy.How could her mother just pack her up and send her with that evil man? I felt vindicated when karma struck that evil uncle, and his wife. Watching in the USA.

Harrowing.No mention of Mum enquiring about Ene during her stay in the City. Not sure how the story illustrates the power of forgiveness. Poor little, powerless girl. Glad to see the perpetrators reaped some of the consequences

Why would the mother even trust the uncle like that? I will never release my child to any family member in another city to live with them. He could have send the mother the money if he really wants to help her with her studies, then no form of communication between her and her Mother or brothers? What if the mom-doesn’t have a phone as of when the incident happened? What if she can’t travel all the way from the village to the city. It’s not really as easy as we think. Her only mistake was trusting the man with her daughter.

This uncle is an animal, I feel hurt that when a child is in danger ppl think she or he disobey his or her parents. It true but not all the time. That guy who took her back was supposed to ask her and take her to the police station.
