This woman has an air of dignity about her in the face of tragedy. Hopefully this is a step in helping her get past it. Nice.

I know that the money is very important for these people but I genuinely believe that the tears and the emotions come from the human connection and love that come out of these interactions. Knowing someone cares can change someone’s entire perspective.

Don't hate me but street people know what to say and when to say it. I'm not saying she was, but they know what they are doing. My father told us never to give cash because you don't know what they are going to do with it. One time I bought a guy Wendy's and told him I done give cash. i saw his a couple of weeks later and I was going to buy him some thing but he wanted cash. I told him I don't give cash and he got mad at me. 🤷‍♂️

I live a tiny minimalist but very happy life and I write in my gratitude journal how grateful I am that I was mugged and freed from the empty consumerist life I used to live.

Occasionally I have to visit a friend in the mental hospital here in Bulgaria, Im always shocked by how astonishingly intelligent and multilingual the average patient is. In my home country the Uk, or the USA, whey would be homeless on the street. Something has gone wrong in their life, in their head and they cant cope

She was very happy with the 100 R that he first gave her. She was naturally shocked and crying out of joy as BI kept increasing his gift to probably 20 times more at the end. God bless all the work you do, BI.

This woman has class and sophistication you can tell she is well read and yet she says there is other people who need help just shows how much dignity she has.. I wish, I had the resources to help people like her.. you just know she is so genuine

It's wonderful what John did for this sweet lady. The truth is, we are ALL capable of compassion and acts of kindness. There are opportunities almost every day. If everyone would step up and do what they can, no matter how small, it would make the world a better place, one person at a time. This is what Jesus did, and taught.

Can't find the right words to honor this angel of a person...so touching...we need more people with hearts of pure gold

I'm not going to let myself cry from this video. it was a good thing to help this lady. she seems rich in character despite her material poverty. I had a friend many years ago who was homeless. if I, myself, hadn't been so emotionally beat up from life, I may have been able to be of more help to him than I was. so really, even being kind to others in simple ways can empower those to help homeless people like this. I'm not always great with words so hopefully I made sense here. anyway, my friends name was Jimmy. he was homeless living alone in the woods. I did tell him he was always welcome to stop by my home ( a trailer in a trailer park) anytime to shower. well, he never did do that but I spoke to him every time I saw him passing through on his bike. one day I heard that he was found dead and alone in the woods in his tent. he was not a drug user or drinker. it's my experience that people usually automatically think so I'm gonna tell ya, no. Jimmy was never "at fault " for his situation from my point of view. so....yeah...my point is, don't wear people out emotional. that way he or she may be strong enough to be a better friend to those less fortunate. it's free

Very noble and classy lady. She is willing to work and provide for her life. God bless you. Prayers that someone will reach out to her and find her a job and shelter.

She going to be a writer someday. She will write about the hard times she's had. She will have her own cottage with a fireplace, maybe a cat and a dog. There she will write stories that will reach the world, that will live beyond her. Every winter, the falling snow will remind her of a certain man named John, who, by telling her to spoil herself, reminded her of how precious life is, of how worthy she is of nice things. When she is old, she will be surrounded by people who love her. I'm writing this down because I only have the gift of words but I sincerely hope that this will be true, in her own way. That a soft, warm life is ahead of her. Somehow she reminds me of myself, always carrying heavy things, walking to places, trying to make something out of life. I often wonder why it is so emotional for me to always be carrying heavy stuff, walking places--I guess it is because the physical weight reminds us of the emotional weight we are carrying and the places we try to back to in our memories, the places of softness, of warmth, of a slow and calm life that we once experienced. Anyway. May she be blessed with health, safety, security, may she be loved and may she have a long life. And thank you, Mr. Nkosi, for trusting people and for telling us that we deserve to be spoiled, that we deserve the best, even at our lowest point.

In 2015 I was worth €6 million. I suffered brain damage in a mugging - 18 months later I was homeless on the streets of a foreign city where I did not speak the language or even read the alphabet. Long story short, I am an author now. I live a tiny minimalist but very happy life and I write in my gratitude journal how grateful I am that I was mugged and freed from the empty consumerist life I used to live.
