Characters & Scenes - - - - Cinderpaw's wounded leg prevents her from being a warrior, but she excels in her ability as a medicine cat. Leafpool, despite all good intention, lies to Cinderpelt about her affair with Crowfeather, and to the clan about the kit's origins. Brightheart believes she is ugly, but a particular member of the clan disagrees. Ivypool is training in the Place of no Stars, and feels isolated from the rest of her clan. Hollyleaf's only desire is to prove herself as a warrior, but her bond with her brothers is more important. Dovewing has a hard time finding her place in the clan after Hollyleaf's return. Cinderpelt and Brightheart find comfort in each other after facing a similar trauma, resulting in a change in both of their destinies. Ivypool goes to Dovewing, Jayfeather and Lionblaze to come clean about her participation in the Place of no Stars, helping to save the forest. Hollyleaf loses her life in the battle against the Place of no Stars.
