In the middle of this tune,After she hands her purse to the blond girl,Allie alters her tone,going from that 'husky' alto sound to that higher and very emotional voice.And she does it so smoothly and effortlessly.What a young and amazing talent.She has something special in her voice that just grabs you.I can't really describe it .To me,its magical. Mighty fine. I would REALLY have been impressed had she hit that octave above like Adele did. But even Adele doesn't hit that live. Adele's "Someone Like You" is the finest secular song and vocal recording performance ever recorded. That's MY opinion, of course. But I have been a guitarist and musician for 62 plus years ...

I said this ages ago and got slammed for it :the Girl has a phenomenal voice but anyone that always uses a ipad to prompt the words loses me straight away. And this highlights what happens if you haven't really learned the song. The chorus sounded great of course.

After watching my first video from this lady, I thought her voice was very good. However, I am still searching for a second video from her that I enjoy. I have no doubt about her talent and I’m there are loads of people who love her performances but it’s my personal taste about people forcing their voice. Maybe I will come across another that I appreciate but I’ve got the feeling that her team is pulling her away from being a singer that I would enjoy. I wish her every happiness.

She can sing alright, but she's not groundbreaking by any means. Too many rough edges, too much power, lacking technique, control and smoothness. She does some things well and overuse them a lot.
