Mongolia need a princess (marriage) Both empress and downager empress daughter are eligible. Since Mongolia is far away and the only daughter marrying off, the mothers are reluctant to do so. @@memyselfi5994 the translation in this one is a bit too literal and do not convey the exact context of the conversation. I think Ruyi suggested the Dowager to use reverse psychology here. The minister and Emperor already knew the power the Dowager stood to gain by marrying off a second daughter. The Empress do not care but Ruyi figured that her clan could be incited to pressure her to marry off Jingse. So Ruyi advised that the Dowager should publicly advertise the benefits she stood to gain and make it be known she wanted this marriage. This will cause the Fuca clan to have "ants in the pants" as they will realize the Dowager will have too much power and influence. The Fuca clan cannot let the opportunity of having extend their influence into Mongolia slip (it may be years before another Princess is married off to Mongolia), so they will promptly pressured Jingse to be married.
