What a lovely example of someone showing us all that it's never too late to live the life that you've always dreamed of. Bravo Trish!

True but you can tell she's a retired lady. If people do things right, then anyone can do what she has done as well once retired.
What a beautiful soul she has
I was fortunate to meet Trish a day or two after this interview. I was was walking past " The Good Life " hostel in Cartagena, Colombia and Trish was exiting outside and I asked her about how the hostel was. She gave me a tour of the wonderful hostel where I will stay on my next visit. But more importantly was the hour long conversation we had on the doorstep. Trish is a lovely soul living her life in travel. And now I call her a friend. Healthy and safe travels Trish.

What a great documentary of her travels, who she is, plus you and your channel’s philosophy. Thanks for sharing this experience Dan. Thanks for keeping us connected.
Way to LIVE Trish! My challenge would be for you to swim in the ocean at Willows Beach in Victoria, BC, Canada. (at any time of the year)

Excellent challenge; I’ll add it to my list!
Great video! She encouraged us that no matter how old we were, we could do whatever we wanted. There is a culture in Asia that says you should active like “age-appropriate”. But that's not cool at all.
11:49 - New Orleans is one of my favorite cities. Amazing energy, history, food and people. Like any major city, you need to know the areas to avoid. Do your research and ask at the hotel/hostel and you'll be good.
Her story is so brave and touching that I had literally tears in my eyes! So inspiring!
Such a beautiful thing to find human connection in a world that has become disconnected. Good seeing you again bro
Trisha so happy for you that you are living your dream! Such an inspiration you are!
She's great and inspiring 👌🥰
Incredible. Such an inspiring lady. Good luck with trip around the world, Trish❤️
Interesting interview!
Such a great video, Patricia seems an amazing person good to talk with! I hope she finds cheap tickets to Brazil soon
Cartagena ❤🇨🇴 I love her! So inspiring 🫶
Nice video, keep interviewing more people where you travel, makes the video enjoyable besides the good video quality and surrounding beauty. Happy travels Dan.🙂👍✈️
Wow, oh my gosh, I admire this woman! Она возродила мою детскую мечту, возможно однажды я тоже смогу отправится в подобное путешествие, я очень надеюсь на это)
Trish is amazing , what a beautiful woman. So inspired
She has a great personality and traveling has to go with boldness. She made it. Much love for her from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Wow, that's awesome!!!
She's amazing love her vibes , very inspirational 😀✈✈
Great interview, Dan!!! I´m glad to see you´re back in South America. And Patricia, since you´re in this beautiful continent I challenge you to come to Brazil!!! Come see Belo Horizonte, you´re super welcome here!!!
Love this and you Trish!

Wow - fun lady and good for her for starting travelling when older!
I love Trish!!
I traveled solo for a few weeks through the Balkan states (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia) and was so excited to be able to do whatever I wanted. What I didn't expect was how lonely I got. I'm not a very social person and find it very hard to talk to strangers, so after a week I started missing talking to people I felt comfortable with. Especially at dinner time when I sat down to eat and looked at all the other tables and saw how they chatted and laughed. That's when it hit me. I started texting my husband and friends constantly, even reached out to friends I hadn't talked to for a while just to not feel so alone. It was an experience of a lifetime and I'm so glad I did it but I sure wouldn't do it alone again. Tricia seems to be more outgoing and open to meeting new people. So I guess traveling solo is not for everyone. I'm really happy for her that she gets to live her dream.

I can relate. After a while of being completely solo, and if ur not that social as I am then it does get lonely. I experienced this in Mexico and even though I know Spanish very well I felt awkward trying to talk to people. I still want to try traveling to places out of my comfort zone and see how I do there.

Wow What a lovely person
come to the country of Georgia .. y'all will love it here 😊😊
Even though she seems to be a very humble and inspiring person, I can't help to think: Why do US-Americans tend to overdo it? 50 countries in less than a year? That's about one week per country. Not only is that a rather stressful way of traveling - but also: What's the point? You can't get to know a whole country or the culture in that little time... At least in her case limited vacation days weren't an issue. But to each their own I guess.
@porfiriato84

Doesn't seem like you paid attention to what she said. I mean she literally said she was trying to hit as many places as possible. She had no desire to learn about culture or anything. Funny how you had to conveniently throw shade at Americans. You're hilarious.
@JustMisterPi

@@porfiriato84 It wasn't my intention to throw shade. I was just seizing on the idea that the stereotype of Americans is that they want to visit all of Europe in 10 days. And whilst I'm aware that it's a stereotype, there is certainly some truth to it. I guess I just can't relate to ticking off as many countries as possible on a list.
@porfiriato84

@@JustMisterPigot it. But that's what she wanted to do and she's doing it. I personally wouldn't try to do it that way either as I would prefer how Dan travels and immerse myself in said country.

Hi Dan, I hope you can answer my question: What's it like to travel the world so constantly? How about if I do so for the very first time? Patricia had never gone abroad as an elderly person until last year and she's become an incredible traveler after having been to over 50 countries in a really short period of time. As far as I know, Dan, who is a way younger traveler, has been to not over 30 countries as he was spending much more time knowing and enjoying different cultures, sceneries, as well as interacting with different people over the years. In my case, I don't know what traveling overseas is like because I've never left my home country and many desires have come to my mind, one of them is to move to the United States to live and work there one day, that's something I've been dreaming of most in my life. But I don't even know what to expect out in the world and I'm pretty scared to leave my comfort zone permanently just for the sake of what could happen to me, that comes down to my anxiety about negative situations I'd get involved into. I'm 25 and I'm still feeling kinda insecure about meeting anyone wherever I go, and I'll need some professional help to overcome many challenges regarding traveling overseas.

The greatest fear at 25 should be to NOT travel and live your dreams. Good luck and start one country at a time. I still do it and will go beyomd 150. Each one is a challenge amd opportunity at the same time.

Living like you want is the biggest gift you may ever do to yourself. It requires a lot of courage, but the perspective of wasting a whole lifetime just because we have to fit into social conventions is unbearable
