    When you are trans, there is something in you that always knows. There isn't some kind of "sudden decision," there are years of internal struggle. Why would anyone decide to be a part of a demographic that is in constant danger? That woman is right, why would anyone put that on a child? Unless living a lie and losing your heart is more painful than the idea of death. THAT is something no one should wish on anyone. Shouldn't we want children to have a chance at happiness and peace in themselves?

    Exactly!!! Tony has been through hell and back and the last thing he wants is his young teenaged daughter being confused thinking that she's a boy. Tony and Diane should have never taken this trans person into their house, a complete stranger. Now this person messed up their young daughter's head believing she's someone that she's not. This is why there's so much pushback in real life teaching young children about LGBTQ lessons in schools and having ppl in that community influencing kids of that age.

  • @EloiseHowell-lz9ij

    @EloiseHowell-lz9ij

    4 ай бұрын

    @gunnyo50 yeah that's not how it works in the real world. When we're younger we are pushed this narrative. I was told "you're going to marry a boy" and "you're such a pretty girl" etc but guess what? That didn't stop me from being gay or non binary. People can't influence who you actually are otherwise I would be a straight female. It's important to educate on these topics so young people know that what they are feeling is okay. Wheh i was 10, I didn't really know what being gay or nonbinary was but I knew I was different. I didn't want to play kiss tag with the boys and I didn't want to play mummy's. It was so confusing and I felt so alone. We know we are these things before we know what they are and education is the second step in accepting and loving ourselves. I learnt what gay was and came out at 12 (I'm 22 and still gay) I came out as non binary at 15. Gender is harder because it's not as simple as who you are attracted to, but someone exploring until they find out who they are isn't a bad thing. I thought I was a trans boy at first because I knew i wasnt a girl but I didn't know about non binary. However, when I did finally learn about it, i knew exactly that moment that that's what I was (still non binary at 22) Of course people can be groomed (not influenced) or confused about things (which is okay) but in the majority of cases that is not what happens. Lgbtq+ education won't influence young people in to becoming gay or transgender because it doesn't work like that, we are born this way. The most it can do is make someone explore who they are, and if that's a straight cis person then that's great, the exploring didn't do them any harm.

    Yeah, I’ve got a problem with this storyline. It’s completely ridiculous to paint Tony as the bad guy because he’s heard his kid say one thing and he needs time to wrap his head around what’s happening. Tony’s reaction is completely normal and any halfway decent parent should react something like this, especially since his life is falling apart as far as he’s concerned. These comments being mad at Tony need to get a grip. Did he kick the kid out and disown the kid? No. Send the kid to conversion therapy? Say anything unnecessary or actually mean? No. All he did was react surprised and try to understand where this is all coming from since he clearly didn’t see it coming. He is not the bad guy in this situation. There is no bad guy in this situation. Rose needs to learn that these kinds of things take time and parents probably aren’t going to immediately accept this without asking questions first, especially if they didn’t see it coming.

    Morning. I don't claim to know much but wouldn't he start by doing more social transitioning - wearing more "boy" clothes, hair cut short etc. It feels like a very quick jump. At the very least you would jump straight out of "girl" school uniform if it made you feel so uncomfortable. Just a thought.

    I am not sure if Rose Lomax storyline is good or not. I think there is backlash because it is a very sensitive issue, especially the connection between children and sex is usually considered as taboo. However, for the people who critized, I don't think this is your business you need to be too delibrately care about because it is their issue but not your issue.

    Oh for OA’s sake Tony you had no issue with your Son Harry being Gay and Ste was like a Son to you, you were always there for him when he was addicted to drugs and going berserk over them you need to face facts that you don’t have a Daughter anymore (except for Dee Dee aka Rose) still you need to get over yourself. I’m glad Diane was there defending him I even heard this was done with Jason Costello and his Parents weren’t okay with it along with Silas which is why he was always calling him “Jasmine” instead of Jason but if Rose wants to go by a different name then Tony’s gonna need to start respecting this. Ivy I still have bad feelings about still I even still wished that Rose would’ve spoken to Sally about this considering she too is Transgender only MTF but still she could have a talk with her I am glad what Ivy was talking to Tony about with Rose as well but I still have bad vibes about her especially with her being with Beau “Brady 😂” still I hope the truth about her real identity will come out soon and Beau will dump her along with Maxine for Carter. 😒

    Yes that’s the problem, it’s conditioning vulnerable mentally ill children into feeling this way and if they already did it’s worsening their symptoms by affirming their delusions and pushing them further into their mental illness, it’s incredibly harmful to children, children should not be thinking this way and this abusive ideology shouldn’t be normalised all over British media when so many kids have been victim to it already, I say this as someone who once was one of those kids, who has felt like her, this is incredibly harmful
