This girl has so much warm and positive attitude and mindset cus she was near death and an angel walks with her in every step . But she not only sings but also the first kid of the kidney foundation she helps others who went thru god bless her heart as well

Thanks for reacting to Angelica's and Cheryl's cover of "Girl on Fire." And thank you for your objective comments and critique. Oh, so much to talk about. First, yes her bout with sepsis when she was four permanently changed her life. But she hasn't let that stop her and in fact uses it to encourage others who are dealing with health issues. She regularly posts her visits to the transplant clinic for her routine tests to show that you can still live a meaningful and joyful life even with ongoing health issues. As I mentioned before, she continues to work with the National Kidney Foundation, the Sepsis Alliance, and other organ donation organizations. For example, she went to DC when she was 12 and successfully lobbied Congress to pass a law to require insurance companies to cover home dialysis. She has numerous surgical scars, and it took her a while to accept it (watch her cover of "Scars to Your Beautiful") but now proudly displays them like the warrior she is (she posted numerous bikini photos these past two summers). And her second original song was "Overcome." With respect to that "something" in her voice, I agree that there is a richness and depth that pulls you in and caresses your heart. But I don't know either if there is a term for that quality in a voice. And yes, she truly loves to sing and to perform. At her Friday Night Live with her supporters and patrons this past week she was just giddy about the things she's got coming up this year. We know that she has a "trouser role," playing a teenage boy in the next Atlanta Opera Film Studio production. She shared more about her time in NYC this past summer where she workshopped David Foster's new Betty Boop Broadway musical. She said that the experience of working with the cast and crew to stage a musical and perform it for the potential investors was the most enjoyable and meaningful experience of her life and confirmed her passion to be a singer and entertainer. She said that her future is wide open (she is only 15 after all) but knows deep in her soul that she's meant to be a singer and entertainer.

I so appreciate how great you are with your reactions. I also like how you understand what Angelica has gone through. The other thing we are dealing with is teenage. I have a 15 year old grand daughter, I know how they struggle with going from a child to being grown up. What a friendship these two have.

Just watched the coach she had leading up to her AGT The Champions, and helped arrange that performance. She confirmed that Angelica's normal state is "rainbows and Unicorns" positivity. Really obvious in this video

There are many of us, myself included. Believe that when she was sleeping with the angels, (in a coma) Angelica was touched by a force. Not just to heal, but to be a pure joy to those she touches with her voice.

Yes, I've always thought something similar. But maybe not just angels but something more. Little known fact: Based on the timeline provided by her dad in several videos, Angelica would have been on ECMO and in her medically induced coma from around February 7 to 18, 2012. Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012. I'll let people form their own opinion.

@@davidbray1178 Oh I do feel that the Almighty had his hands on this young lady. From her first performance, I heard the same reaction, from react channels all over the planet, "Oh my God". Even from those of different languages, she, (and "He")touched so many. That is a effect greater then one person without his help.

The thing about her that impressed me more was not her singing. Don’t get me wrong, she’s an amazing and talented angel.. but I was more impressed by her soul and positivity towards life.

I agree that she changes this Christmas song and makes it so special. It's a shame it was released on Christmas Eve as people don't usually play Christmas songs after the new year. This performance was so special, she makes every song she does her own, xxxxx

I think you were looking for the term "something more better..." :) You're welcome. I don't recall if you have done it or not but I recommend her cover of Easy on Me and also Stone Cold. Lastly, what they don't cover here about this amazing young lady is the fact that she was on ECMO lift support for (I think) 12 days. She nearly died and yet here she is amazing people with her ability to sing so beautifully. I look forward to more of your reactions to her.
