I hate the fact they movies were they make it seem like they are desperate and pathetic for a guy to love them. It just disgust me

She is desperate and obsessed because she fell in love with him when she was so inexperienced and young. She gets some self-respect and a much more mature love after he rejects her. The KZread storytelling is wrong in some parts. I cried like 10 times during this show just because of the misunderstandings and hurt feelings. It is worth watching.

🤣Obviously your 1st drama. Thats pretty much the blueprint for a standard one. Half the episodes of the series 1 side is desperate and pathetic and the 2nd half of the episodes it flips to the other person being desperate and pathetic. Both the guy and the girl get chances to be desperate and pathetic not just one. 😅

I think I have seen another adaptation of this story..

Honestly i felt this was more akin to normal life than what we usually see in Cdramas or Kdramas. The girl states her feelings pretty early on, shoots her shot and gets upset when she gets turned down (understandable) but she rebounds and proceeds to move on with her life. When he finally comes around she doesnt want to be bothered so he has to work extra extra hard to fix his mess up.(basically exactly what would happen in real life) No diabolical jealous siblings or secondary/tertiary love interests to be strung along for years purely for the sake of plot. And the secondary leads aren't ridiculously obsessed so dont go down some dark road trying to ruin peoples lives. Misunderstandings were kept to a minimum and not dragged on for 29 episodes to miraculously get resolved on the final episode.

I like the start of this series, but it falls off 2/3 of the way. I think he chases her for way to long. I can understand he only saw her as a friend at the start, then he falls for her. But the fact that she still loves him, but yet drags him along for so many episode afterward kinds sickens me. The whole his sister and rival falling in love also make no sense for me too, I feel like it was put in just to please the 2nd Male lead. What I hate in some of these chinses Drama is the courtship being too long, and too drawn out.

out of curiosity.. is there by chance that the mc hair (the girl) had a scene where its not tied? cuz based from these recap i never saw her hair down.. i think shell look even better..

Its not a movie but chinese series thats relatively popular too. I watched the kiss scene compliations for the show which is passionate and erotic just form that alone, Id recommend.
