Regarding Black Swan's mysterious line: the Garden of Recollection is collecting memories for Fuli so that the Aeon of Remembrance will use them to recreate the universe after its Destruction. In that sense, the past is actually the future. However, the Aeon of Finality actually moves BACKWARDS in time. So whenever someone briefly glimpses Terminus and hears their "prophecy" of the future, the Aeon is in fact simply reciting events which have already come to pass. In other words, the universe's Finality came first, and everything "leading" to it is actually a byproduct stemming from it. Perhaps Swan is alluding to the Garden knowing that our understanding of past and future are wrong, and time as Terminus experiences it (in reverse) is actually the truth?

It also adds up with the Stellaron Hunters - Elio saw the end of the universe endless times so now they work on that one script where it can be safed. We the trailblazer are just one way to prevent the end

This is probably true. According to GGZ, time is retroactive in nature and the future is dictated by the past, and the fact that we see it wrong is simply an illusion. Moreover, according to HI 3rd, reality consists of information, our thoughts are more real than the rest and everything in general - something like a collective dream. Although it is not entirely clear where GGZ is located cosmologically relative to other games in the series.

She certainly must be able to control/affect memmories! At the beginning of HSR when we unlock MoC, the 'person' who does it is an agent of the Garden of Recollections too and warns us not to tell the rest of the express that she's there. If you try to tell them, before the crew can do anything she 'wipes' their memories immediately and tells us that we forced her hand, and to please not force her to do it again.

I was watching the trailer before watching this and I said to myself “no but like I love her” look over to the side and see the thumbnail and burst out laughing

About the three prominent cards (Lady with crown, Demon, and Black swan): as was shown in the teaser livestream they are they represent visually the three 'levels' of her Arcana passive - base is Black swan, AoE damage is Lady with crown, and def ignore is the Demon.

Kafka: Destiny has thousands of faces, why does it choose to take this one? Black Swan: There's more then one destiny to choose from. These 2 would make for a *fascinating* conversation I bet.

I think, when she says “we are all moving towards our past”, it means that our future (as time passes) becomes our past. For example, Yesterday WAS the tomorrow of two days ago.

As someone who once suffered memory loss due to an unfortunate event, I can say that it took a lot from me. Now I can’t really fathom human emotions (bcs some parts of my brain don’t work properly anymore), I can’t even feel happy, shed a tear nor sink in anger. Heck I don’t even understand how to love right now. Sometimes, I recall some lost memories when I’m about to sleep, and the memories literally flood my brain; scenes pass through one by one, the events keep switching without even reaching the end-story. I don’t really know how to interact with people, I often don’t have idea what people are thinking about when an event is related to me. Well, the whole point is, yes, losing memories does change a person.

Fuli's entry in the data bank says "Fuli is the fish that swims back upstream... They sit in the center of the sanctuary, silently watching as the world tirelessly repeat the same mistakes over and again.", so the line about moving towards the past could be referring to these past mistakes being indicative of future events?

"We're all moving towards the past" could be an interpretation of everyone's experiences and all they are, as they age and grow, become nothing but memories. Because she is part of the garden of recollection, she probably sees the progression of life and the future differently, as more of a process to create new memories rather than something to be wary of or run from.

9:32 One theory I saw online was that this might have been Black Swan in the past. She used to be a queen ruling over her world before it got destroyed and then she became a memokeeper.

Just a curious note, at 5:41 "moving towards the past" phrase is also mentioned in Terminus (aeon of Finality) description. Wonder if they are somehow related. Also, 9:26 that card is a 3* LC if i remember correctly, and the second card has the mask from the Break Effect artifacts set (im sorry, i forgot the name lol)

I'm not saying this is what it means but imagine a person without any memories. The rest of their lives they are gonna either try to make new memories to replace those they lost or spend their lives trying to recover said memories hence going into the future is like heading into the past. If Black Swan can erase memories and is part of the remembrance path which guards the universe's memory who knows. It becomes so complicated at some point tho. Remember when the matrix of prescience tried to peer into March 7th's memory ? March 7th is seeking her lost memories but the rememberance stopped us from doing so. Maybe in the land of dreams March will finally be able to unlock that mystery.

Really good reaction! I wanna correct one thing though. The card of the girl wearing the crown isnt Robin. Its Stelle. Im not sure what its signifying yet, i just know that its supposed to represent her. Its why its so prevalent in the trailer.

Ps: remember the girl on the Express can also erase memories seems that it is a standard ability for those following that path

Two of the Major Arcana in Tarot decks are The Empress and The Devil; it's possible that the crowned woman and the devil man are reference too those card's. I would like them to be deeper references or foreshadowing but they may just be part's of her aesthetic.

I’ll be interested in seeing what interactions (if any) will be between Black Swan and March. Because March is all about searching for her memories and making new ones and Black Swan has revealed that she can remove and/or change memories.

No actually. Elio has pulled a Dr Strange and seen the future which we win and guiding them along that path, you can see during Kafka’s companion quest that you can change fate or the predetermined path and even states that your choices are still your own and such.
