Freeman should give you this one, Nick. I'm old enough to remember when you're Dad bought Bud n Mary's. Richard was a good captain and a helluva nice guy. I had a Timeshare at The Lower Matecunbe Resort, Room I-6 for 30 years. If I wasn't there I was at the Whale Harbor Inn and Bar. What a great time in my life. We caught every fish in the keys. New Years Day, 1969, we caught a ton of Kingfish on the Miss Tradewinds, and fished that boat 50 times or more before I got my boats. Anyway, I'm so happy the little boy from there has turned into a great captain, husband, father and KZreadr. Thanks for the videos, Nick. Godspeed to you and you're family.

We’re excited and stoked. The financial aspect of them can be a little daunting but just hoping that business stays good and we keep selling some boats and doing everything

Haha sounds good! We Wanted it for fishing more for personal use. The 42’ is used for a charter boat 95% of the time so the 28’ will be a much better boat for us to film videos on and fish on with our family and friends. We are also helping out the sales team at Freeman with the new 28.

An investment I imagine, aren’t you on a waiting list for freeman’s.probly sell it for a profit by the time you get it But now he can have more captains doing charters on catmarns Plus it pays to always have new boats soo you never run into trouble when your out far

Thank you! We love the boat. As along as everything is sealed pretty good like the hatches, consoles, switch boxes etc the saltwater isn’t too bad. But if there are any leaks from a bad seal and salt drips on anything electrical is can cause some headaches

If you thought about it in car terms think of a Kia and a BMW. Both cars fit 4 people, are approximately the same size, but the BMW is nicer, rides better, more technology went into engineering and it has more options. Both cars get you to the same spot but one is more comfortable and sells for substantially more. The market sets the value (the price consumers are willing to pay). If they weren’t selling them I’m sure they would be less expensive or they may not even make them. A 26’ costa would be the most comparable boat but it is a little smaller and doesn’t have the same ride as the Freeman. Hence it’s less expensive , maybe 20% less (not 50% less).

How do you decide which boat to use that day?

Love the boat Nick ..one thing u may want to pass on to other subscribers I've noticed after KZread is updating I lost you and others I follow it unsubscribes us for some reason I had you subd and all notifications I just checked last week I wasn't even subbed so just something you may want to pass along..it's happening it seems every update to KZread!!!

How similar is this boat to the 29 freeman they once produced?

I’ve never been on the 29 but I would assume a fair amount of changes with regards to running surface etc. I know people always ask about the 29 and really like it some I’m sure it’s a great boat

question. :: when they trailered down boat to you did they have to take off radar or was it low enough to trailer it down the road.. and can you make it a trailer type boat or is it to high with the upper station. ..

They left the radar on the top. No problems trailering it.
