Honestly, if you're tired of the brooding Ml who can't communicate for the life of him trope, skip this one. Fl is pretty well written and its sweet as heck that her siblings from her past life are now her adopted children but Ml is written like a wet board and his "tragic" backstory is contrived and doesn't really explain or excuse his current garbage behavior.

The ML is a loss cause. His past doesn't give him excuse to be subconsciously heartless to his grieving wife. Im very angry at this ml. He is not abusive but his mind is like child. His biggest flaw is communication skill, if he little bit good with it situation would have been different. He cried when his friend and his former crush died but he didn't even cried when his own child died and when his wife needed him the most he was absent. When her child died he bring her crush child. That was stupid. It's not that he left his wife like that he cared for her made efforts but unintentionally done opposite of what doing best. And from what i read it implies that ml ra*ed white haired woman in drunk state and she got pregnant then they get married. Ml is not abusive physically or mentally but his mind is like of child because of that you can say that he unintentionally abused her mentally. And og white girl is good woman but her life become hell because of him. No one cared of her not her own family not her husband ml and she killed herself and after mc become host of that body. I pray for og white hair woman to get iskied some other world and live a happy life.

This manhwa has no romance. So if you think they will be reconcile or she move on with another man, then this is not for you. This story is also not my cup of tea. I can understand that she raised the children bcs they are her reincarnated siblings but i just hate she stayed married with him for long time. I read the spoiler but they didn't tell abt him apologize for their deceased baby. Okay i understand that he has many scars, but i hope at least he explained and apologized for neglecting her. I just don't like him. Thankfully, the story doesn't follow typical 'husband regret and fall in love with MC' trope.

I love how everyone is bashing the male lead (understandably, his attitude is horrendous), but completely ignore that the female lead sexually assaulted him. Someone who read the story said that he was drunk and unconscious, and the female lead took advantage of him. That’s how she got pregnant in the first place. This could have been a good story, if instead of the cliche plot line of him having a lot of trauma from childhood, they addressed the assault, and his detachment to the female lead and his child, was due to her assaulting him. I can understand him not crying for the loss of his child, because of how said child was conceived. Like bruh, this was sexual assault, people need to stop excusing it, or trying to spin it into something else. If the roles were reversed, and the male lead took advantage of the female lead instead, no one would be questioning the fact that it was assault.

Alright y’all like this I got a TLDR IRL rollercoaster heartbreak true story for ya. My Uncle met this girl in HS he really liked but she kind of treated him like a plaything while he was trying to win her affection. She even went out on a single date with another man and we thought it was to make my uncle jealous cause then somehow my uncle finally won her over and they started dating. So the Vietnam war draft kicks in and he and my uncle both went to war and my uncle is writing her letters constantly saying how much he loves her and he will come home to her and she occasionally writes him back but they’re these very nonchalant boring replies like she doesn’t even care which is wild cause this man is in direct combat he becomes the youngest red beret in history cause he lied about his age, which subsequentially gets found out and they decide to demote the man instead of completely court marshal and remove him because this man paratrooped with his platoon into the front lines and helped our forces but in doing so they all died in action except my uncle who found himself at the end of the battle alone around a pile of smoking bodies. He hears the vietkong troops coming in and crawls deep under a pile of his dead comrades and he hears the vietkong stabbing and shooting the bodies to make sure they’re all dead and in doing so some of the bullets end up hitting my uncle so he’s sitting there bleeding out under bodies. Passing in and out days later our troops somehow find him under the bodies and evac him. After a lot of Medical care and rehabilitation and an awards ceremony he gets shipped home shell-shocked. He proposes to his sweetheart and she gleefully accepts, they have 3 kids and he builds a goddamn comfy empire so this lady can sit at home quite comfortably drinking wine and turning into a Karen. My uncle hires people to pack and move all their things cause they sold the family home to move down south into their summer home and in doing so he casually packs a few things himself and comes across this box and finds all these letters his wife write that guy she went on the one date with. They were filled with deep love sentiments and heavy sorrow, nothing like the few he received from her. There were so many and they all had return to sender on them. Turns out the man she pined after got killed very shortly after getting to Vietnam and never received any of the letters and she only found out about it shortly before my uncle came back and proposed. So she basically comes out and tells a mutual acquaintance that she never really truly loved my uncle and she was young and didn’t know what to do so she accepted his proposal but never got over the loss of the love of her life (guy she went on 1 date with😂) and she actually put a memorial together for this guy 45yrs later when there’s really nobody to care about it and she used my uncles money of course. So my Uncle tells me all this and I’m like……wtf man you’re successful present this all in court and divorce her and she won’t get as much as you think. But he just tells me: “how do you go this long thinking you crawled out of hell for the love of your life, then build an empire and a family only to find all this out……she was my reason for living, thinking of her kept me alive in hell.”😳💔 I’m sitting there like damn and it was all lies…….she lived a lie just to live comfortably. How cold, serpent like. And they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and nobody in the family knows this except me & my mother.

Even after reading the comments, I still prefer this to the manhwa I thought this was. I don't remember the name (mainly because I hate it), but the FL who supposedly loves her country in her Past Life makes every decision that will destroy or cripple it. The ML didn't comfort her either after she lost her child and everyone hates him but I hate the FL far more in it. And while I have not read this one, it seems more like he thought she was wanting children than that she wanted HER child, so he found her children in hopes to curb the pain (as well as to keep the only connection he had to his 'ex-crush' and best friend close). And from what it looks like, she didn't marry him for love either. Of course those kinds of marriages are not going to go well.
