I love full-time life. I, too, started my independence in the VI long ago. Loved it. My mom was upset knowing I was going to pack up and leave for the unknown. She never got the chance to see the wonderful and free life I now enjoy. No regrets. I will do this until my health says no more.

Congratulations for escaping the conformity of Iowa. I spent my first 59 years in IA and know free spirits are not encouraged, even as much as I love the state. It's good to live in other places, meet and get to know people who are different.

I love people who can create a living places for self.

Jana checks all the boxes .. artist, VI, ambulance, and beautiful! ;-) .. In 1975 - 79 .. I lived on St. Thomas, drove an ER ambulance and did a lot of artwork there. Great ambulance box build .. ❣🚑

Really nice home. Noticed your negative cable on battery really corroded so might cause you a problem. Just pour boiling water on it and it will be clean. Keep an eye on it though.

Great video. The Janbulance is a great build out into a home on wheels. Jana has proved she really is a jack of all trades with this construction, including a shower and toilet. Her artwork is exceptional. I love the shot of Jana doing yoga on top of the Janbulance. She is such an interesting young woman: teacher, artist, mechanic, engineer, yoga instructor. Amazing.

She would be a hard act to follow! That young lady is blooming with energy and has it together. My hat is off to her. Great video. Thumbs up!😎👍

I like the amount of aisle space she has in the van. This is the first video I’ve seen where the occupant didn’t take up a lot of space with a double or queen bed at the back of the van. While I couldn’t live like this full-time, it seems quite exciting for a short time.

Love this build! I didn't know the difference between an ambulance and a Red Cross vehicle, + for interior space.

What a gorgeous and very ingenoius build ! I like very much how all of your water and works are inside the unit. And if you have to you can take right off without leaving the unit ! Such a creative and very artsy build. You deserve to be proud of yourself !

I love this! This is a super creative and affordable space. I love how functional everything is, with the standing desk too. I think this video gives people even more encouragement to see that anything is possible when you think outside the box. Thanks for sharing!

What a fabulous build! There are so many great ideas implemented in this one of a kind, very personalized home. I especially love the artwork on the walls and the crate drawers in the kitchen. Also, the upper kitchen cabinet. It's beautiful. The floor plan is so good. It opens up the space and keeps walking space at a maximum. This is at the top of my favorites list for sure! The most perfect use of space. I love it.

If you ask your friend to weld an e-bike holder then you can use the e-bike as a means for resupply runs if you intend to stay off-grid for awhile. You can mount a milk crate in front of the e-bike in order to carry the grocercies, etc. RE: the shower situation, if you design a way to collect "rain water", you'll always have fresh water, all you need is water filters. Just a few suggestions. Hope it helps. :)

I bought an ambulance. The head gaskets blew just after I put new air conditioning in, tires, customized brakes, etc. 😝. AAA barely agreed to tow it and I was forced to auction it off for $1,000.00!! Everyone thought I was crazy when I got it. I fid get ripped off despite 2 mechanic checks! Miss it a lot. Great conversion. Congratulations!
