I think it’s because the names are foreign to us English speaker and so they sound a little similar especially Eunji and Woojin. Not only that but all the guys have a similar look as well. The girls were a little easier to tell apart. I had to watched it twice and listen carefully to catch which guy is which. Then I was able to grasp who’s who and the story was easier to follow after that.

For many westerners watching it’s strange that they seem to prefer that all they guys to look more like ‘little boys’ facially rather than grown men. It’s a telling difference between Asian and Western cultures. Plus the actors also wear so much makeup with foundation and lipstick, again very different from western actors who prefer to look naturally masculine.

So basically, this girl learns absolutely nothing at the end of this movie and makes the exact same mistake again by choosing some hook up at the end (who by this synopsis still does not explain his flirtatious behaviour with her friend) over the guy who was there by her side, through it all, and loved her without reservation or demanding anything? Yeah, think I'll give this one a miss.

@@onlymebaby.9249 It’s not racist tf. The male characters do look almost identical. same haircut, similar clothing style, very similar faces, and that’s not because they’re Korean. There’s Korean actors with very distinctive faces and great producers. Korea can produce amazing movies and yet they handled this series with a k-drama cookie cutter approach with the most forgettable faces when put next to each other. The characters are just bland and very hard to like.

Basically the girl’s bf cheats on her with her best friend so she has mega trust issues and goes out to drink her sadness away and ends up having a one night stand with some guy ( who is her classmate) And he begs her to date him but they just fake date to make her ex upset so then her ex wants to get back together but she rejects him multiple times Then her best guy friend tells her that he loves her.
