She-Hulk DESTROYS Its Story ACCIDENTALLY - Attorney At Law Marvel MCU

Ойын-сауық

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 2 recently aired on Disney Plus, but does the episode show something about the writers and directors of She-Hulk? She-Hulk is meant to be relatable, part of the life experience of the writers, but what does that say about their own careers? Does this help or harm She-Hulk and any future Disney Plus related series.

She-Hulk episode 2 had an incredible scene which really reflected the life of the shows creators and the greater Hollywood career path, as well as a few others. But despite how much they showed they hated it, they still say they want this to be the future, what do you think? Do you think this is their self report of their own life experience? Do you agree that this is where we should go, or is there a better way? Let me know your thoughts below, and as always, thanks for watching :)

Remember when Jen Walters was a courageous crusading lawyer who was targeted by the mob? Who was gunned down in cold blood outside her home, and had to be given an emergency blood transfusion in a critical situation? Remember when that accidentally transformed her into an idealised, larger-than-life version of herself who finally had the physical power and confidence to back up her existing brains, guts, and heart? Remember when the character broke the fourth wall to take the writers and artists themselves to task for relying on cliches and fanservice? Remember _That_ She-Hulk? Well, this ain't her. This ain't her bootlace. It's the self-insert of a bunch of over-promoted tickbox hires.

As a woman in an *actual* male dominated industry (I’ve met 3 other female operators in my industry out of around 400 or so coworkers), I completely understand feeling like you were just a diversity hire. That’s why I work my rear end off to show that I deserve to be in my position. I didn’t complain about it, I knew that I was likely going to be a diversity hire. I just had to prepare to show that I earned my spot. She-Hulk complaining about this is hilarious, she doesn’t want to have to work to make people respect her. It makes me wonder that she ever got a job to begin with. If she can’t earn a position and needs to be hired because she’s big and green, then how the heck did she get her first job? This show seems to be insulting women, more than trying to bring awareness to the female struggle.

I think the whole diversity hire bit was yet another dig at men. Like "look at these awful men, they don't respect me, they never had to put up with this", when A. You're supposed to earn the respect of your peers and B. She has no idea what any of the men there went through to get where they are. But of course they're MEN so they probably just had everything handed to them on a tit shaped platter.

LOL, you need a shrink. You know you're a diversity hire, defend it, deny it, explain your going to earn the spot, then attack her for basically going through the same process because deep inside you know it's not right, but you can't help but want it to be right. Jesus...you realize men have to "work their rear end off" also right? You're not doing anything any different than anyone else, but you still got the job because "I was likely going to be a diversity hire." . Do yourself a favor, just stop thinking anyone gives a shit about the type B part, and go find a good psychologist for some behavior therapy. It's not normal to go through those conflicting processes and it's sure as hell not good for you.

Because while they are complaining about manspreading, cockpits, etc., they are listening to the single most objectifying, greedy, sexualized genre of music- R&B/ Hip hop. How dare they come after a guy sitting on a subway "manspreading" while saying nothing about being sexualized and cussed at by guys who treat them like animals, in music lyrics? The hypocrisy is too much. I don't even give their thoughts good consideration sometimes for the simple fact that I know they don't really believe them themselves.

They love and are turned on by the idea of committing their entire being towards being totally in-line with what they have warped themselves to believe 'alpha men' (who laughably, more often than not, like you say, are simply losers who, in their own right, are very controlling and derogatory towards women yet these morons never get it), while at the same time spitting in the face of normal men every chance they can get as they try and fail to convince the world they have some kind of legitimate power and capacity over them, just because they live an era where somehow they can legitimately, safely ride the societal momentum wave that protects their bizarro thoughts and behaviour as they ree and screech about being treated like shit, ironically, by the very every-day men they seek out just to treat like shit and use as a punching bag and a scapegoat for all their problems. That's why you get the strange lines like the 'cockpit' and 'I'm going to go talk to it', because in reality, these weirdos love it and encourage it, but bafflingly at the same time, then try to paint the average, every day guy in the same light, with one big brush and one big smear, only this time presenting it as something they dislike, when more often than not, it's the absolute opposite, regardless of how degenerate the behaviour is towards them (the key difference being, that it is constantly the men these women turn a blind eye to or even encourage, behaving the exact way they scream and sook and cry about when pretending it's the normal men of society acting this way). Even my grandmother told me "Let a woman talk long enough and she'll tell on herself". They can't help it it's just how they are wired. And considering this is an all female production (which I call bullshit on. Every sound designer, key grip, VFX artist etc. was a woman, bullshit. Some film production jobs would be almost physically impossible for most women) the entire writing staff told on themselves. They are bitter and childless and blame men for how unhappy they are. Did you know SATC was based on a book written by a woman. A hit TV show with an all girl cast from a book written by a woman. So it was all women. That's why women went mental for it... right... right... ...the TV show was created by Darren Star. A man. Who wrote most of the scripts? Darren Star and Michael Patrick King look to have written over half of them. Men. With no help from women. There are more men are credited as writers, just putting a point across. Seasons 5 and 6 were entirely directed by men. Season 4 had 2 episodes directed by women. Doesn't get much better for series 1-3. Point being that show wasn't great because of women. It was great because men and women were working together. Men can write great female roles. If the female actors are good they can even take direction from men or provide constructive feedback on how the scene could be better.

I was going to give it a chance on the hopes that the point of the story arc will be a redemption of she-hulk learning to have humility. But the CGI in that 2nd episode…yikes. I wasn’t able to stay immersed. And I was watching on an iPhone. I can imagine how much worse it would have been if I tried watching on a nicely sized tv screen.

I feel like the creative team behind She-Hulk hung out with the team behind High Guardian Spice with the amount of bitterness against men in it. I'll only take this She-Hulk serious if she actually kicks ass in law and out of work issues like Erin Regan from the Blue Bloods show.

It’s like speaking to kids, but we have adults here. And the fact that a lot of writers can’t say “well guess my story isn’t that great, I should take the feedback and work with it”, scares me. They’re supposed to be functional adults… I wrote myself a lot too and was getting upset when someone said “you didn’t get this right, because….” But I would work on it for the next time, but this writers seem to think “oh even though the explained in detail why they don’t like something or why something wouldn’t work, I ignore it” and they ignore it with bravo. It’s really unfortunate because after every idea could be a really good story, but only their idea matters and if you don’t like it, you’re a sexist, racist, or brainwashed.

Very well put.Beyond irony- is this meta-irony? “Affirmative action” was filled with good intentions, but steals the joy, accomplishment, and sours the efforts of The Affirmed. “I’m here because someone pre-selected me & patted me on the head. Yay.” I’m fairly certain the writer & showrunners didn’t even see the truth of what they had written.. is that triple-irony? Will they rush out to hire someone with their reproductive organs on the outside for reasons of “equity & inclusion?”

I cannot get over the line she says "These dodos didn't have to do this on their first day of work." These 'dodos' on their first day of work 30 years ago(they all look in their 50's) did the grunt work. They did the 14, 16, 18 hour days. These 'dodos' started at the bottom and worked their asses off, fighting tooth and nail for every scrap for years with moving forward and back, backstabbing and alliances. It wasn't handed to them, they fought for it, earned it. Corporate world is brutal in its way and unless you can show you are the best. Prove you are the best, then they would still be at the bottom. They are there not because they are men, or pretty, or whining gimmie. They are there because each has shown what they can do. You cannot skip the grunt work and expect to be given the responsibility and the reward when you cannot prove your worth. Also. another comment. Notice how every man in that room is in a SUIT. Because they are required to conform in order to work there. Women in corporate can wear anything as long as it looks attractive. That SUIT makes ALL men the same. So only way to tell the difference is their skill, skill in work, skill in negotiation, skill in all of the corporate politics all people in that field deal with each day. And she walks in and criticizes because she jumped past all of these people, men and woman because she has something unique that the company wants. Well guess what. That is how it works. She is not hired for her ability, she is hired for her name. She-Hulk. I notice that she still took the job. Even though it was 'beneath' her. Guess her skill as a lawyer wasn't that 'special' no matter how much she says otherwise, if no other company would hire her.

Whenever someone tries to claim sexism for not liking this show, the discriminatory hiring practice of the show should be pointed out to them. There is sexism going on, and it is toward men and resulting in the show not having the best writing team, just a team of available people who fit the sexist criteria for being hired.

The frustrating thing is, he could’ve easily explained her being in that form at work because one of the reasons were hiring you is to make our clients understand that you understand what it’s like to be different. In court we also want people to understand that you are arguing from that understood perspective. Also, if they think about your cousin bringing half back from the dead, that wouldn’t hurt.

This happens with all diversity hires. They know why they got the job and so do their coworkers! So, they will have to work harder to prove themselves part of the team, and that they are good enough to do the job without their coworkers having to pick up the slack. This just builds animosity all the way around, and makes it harder for anyone in the future that might deserve the job, but happens to check the same boxes.
