Moral pf the story: Self love. She was wise enough to walk away knowing if she had agreed his proposal no one would have been happy, especially when she looked at eleanor who still waiting for her mother in law's approval. She couldn't lived that way even if nick loves her. She put herself first so she walked away. Self love matters.

@@xiominanda2956have you even watched the movie? She didn't agree because that's just the time that he saw her worth, he's actually willing to give up his family for her. He had always seen it. Where did your takes come from? Self-love is really important and she showed it. But the main reason for her leaving and waking away was because of Nick, she once said it's because she loves him so much and didn't want him to leave his family and mother for good. She didn't do it bc of self-love, she did it bc she loves someone else. In the end, she still married him. You better not speak up for something you know nothing about. It's always important to be smart. 🫶
