You know its very easy to say that she puts work before everything. Bcs the way asian work environment is, it is really hard for a women to grow in her career and especially after childbirth. So she may put her carrer before everything but she has worked a lot to reach where she is.

Child birth is special but I have seen women lose their jobs, no promotion, left out of projects, no new opportunities after delivery. People assume n make different type of excuses like 'she can't work well as she has to take care of baby', 'if she gets promotion she'll have to do more work, how will she manage' , 'can't include her in the new project, what if she drags us down'. This women in the world surely know how the world works n doing everything possible to keep her financially stable for herself n her baby.

It's true that if a woman is married her career opportunities shrink, and if she has a family they just exploit her assuming she won't move her whole family just to get a better position or pay. And yet if a company is in a scandal they immediately search for a woman to represent them and clean up the mess.

Probably no woman would make the same choice, but I've seen many of them get fired the next day because they missed a deal or missed two days. Others only have discounted days (and these are the most understandable)

Actually I'm not sure how possible it is to work while prepping for labour but i know a teacher who gave birth and came to school to the next day.. we were so surprised, at the same time sort of worried...

It actually is. I remember when I was in high school, my class teachers from Senior 3 to Senior 6 were pregnant. We found out that they gave birth the next day after attending to the last class 🙄

@Wei Luo Maternity leave is good but what about the judgement of people in the workplace especially if women are in executive positions. We all know how they think, they will be like why are women paid the same as us when they need more holodays and can't even give full attention to their job.

Tbh the music is so upbeat its hiding how sad this is, girl got into a car accident while pregnant, caused her to go into labor and all of sudden having her baby, but she must stay in contact with her company meeting 😢😢

As someone just started watching this drama after this clip, I believe that she needs to tend to herself before worrying about her son. Plus, once she felt something wrong, she immediately said to the doctor to save her baby. She is divorced & her ex husband has someone else. I believe she is just being amazingly calm , tend to everything b4 going into the operation room. I find this very amazing. She carefully thinks about everything about what needed to do b4 & after the operation. Well u guys need to watch this. I am at the 2nd episode & it feels like worthwhile
