Their versions of equality depend entirely on what they see as comfortable for their own lives. They use it as a means to detract from the fact that’s there’s never been a such thing as equality in all of human history in terms of person to person interactions. Ppl on Twitter would know that if their heads weren’t so graciously shoved entirely up their 🍑’s.

(Edit: We broke up, but life goes on.) I've always been somewhat of a punching-bag for others, I went through nearly 2 years of relentless harassment and became the target of violent people. this all happened in middle-school. eventually when I left I had kept all my emotions repressed, because society made me think it wasn't okay to cry as a boy, so I found myself rarely showing emotion around others, always acting like I was alright. About a year ago I met my current GF, we were hanging out at her house, talking about the happenings at school, when she asked me "Why do you always have that expression?" after that I started crying from remembering all the harassment. I tried my best to calm down, she told me "It's okay to cry NM (My initials) Don't bottle it all up." I was genuinely surprised, I thought she would've told me to "Man-up" like a lot of other people told me, instead she showed me kindness, and I was grateful. She was one of the few people who genuinely cared (and still cares) about me. Flash forward one month after that she goes up to me and says she has something to tell me, so I get pulled aside and she confesses her feelings to me, and thats how I started dating her.

No because my school started a social emotional support group and half the kids there were guys and some of the girls got so pissed because they thought only women had emotions that needed to be tended to. some of them proceeded to get kicked out when one of them brought up how, in our time to speak openly about what was uncomfortable, said those guys should be playing a sport or something instead of being there, and that it made her feel uncomfortable because the boys were always rude to eachother, so "why are they caring about emotions now?". respect to my teacher for making them wait in the hallway before reminding the dudes that that was a safe space for them.

The thing is, since the last couple of centuries society was always male dominated, and they had a superiority complex, while women were considered inferior and framed into particular ways. Men ought to be tough, emotionless, rough and all and women are supposed to be this and that. Either way because of those both suffer, men suffer enough from society with all those burdens and women suffer in a whole lot different ways. Now that women are embracing and talking against dumb societal norms, it seems many men doesn’t do the same on their side. Most of them still are not ready to accept what they’ve lost because of those norms. Either way they created their own conceptions and now we struggle to face the consequences, trying to get out of those engrained in the society. We don’t need feminism or any shit. We just need to realize we are humans. And each other should be treated with love. Now women are trying to get back at what they lost, and not exactly in the right way cause most of them try to put men down instead. This shouldn’t be an argument in the first place, it’s simple as it is.

When I started Highschool, I met this girl that was acting very nice to me. I started trusting her, and even told her one of my secrets I would never tell to anybody else. Two months later she started acting aggressive towards me and I decided to tell it to some of my other friends in that school. The day after that happened when I arrived to the school again I was getting mocked everywhere because that girl had told so many people about the thing I trusted her to keep a secret. I confronted her about why she did that, and she revealed that she was just using me. Then I was expelled from that Highschool and she couldn’t walk again for some months.

Men like me that have been abused can't call the cops for fear of being arrested because we are the male of the household. If we letr ourselves get beaten we are considered weak, if we fight back, we're the aggressor. All we can do is hold our heads down and pray that some day it will end. Growing up I realized as a man no one cares about my feelings. I would get yelled at anytime I showed any form of emotions. It got to the point it was easier for me to punch myself in the head just to keep myself from crying or showing any other emotion. Even now if I start to cry I'll punch myself without even realizing it until after. Yet majority of society would tell me even now to grow up and get over it.
