She performed NUNU NANA at the KBS song festival with Jackson and it was iconic, definitely check out Jackson Wang if you haven't already. He's a member of GOT7 but also has his own solo career and just recently was the first Chinese artist to perform at Coachella.

She actually debuted as a singer in the early 2000s 😅 She was in choir when she was growing up in New Jersey in the States. She has been in the Korean music industry for so long but only recently got popular (Koreans used to not like her direct rough personality). So happy that she's finally getting the love and recognition she deserves. Also, she had the AUDACITY to claim she isn't a very good rapper (what????? no queen don't say bs). But yeah a lot of new fans are shocked to know this but she only relatively recently got into rapping (right around the time she was a contestant in the Korean rap show Unpretty Rapstar in 2015 and finished 2nd place) which is surprising because she's very known for her rapping. So yeah despite being known for her rapping, she's a trained vocalist first. I love her personality the most and all her music is fire. You should listen to her more vocal focused songs like "Numb".

Finally! Welcome to being a Jebbie, Gray. Jessi will probably adopt you. I believe in your goals! She's definitely empowering, I rely on her music to hype me up. I got emotional knowing you reacted to her. As a few of us have said to you, you are a Jebbie you just didn't know it yet.

They also made a supergroup of other multigenerational kpop 'Bad girls' members: Hwasa (in her 20s, from Mamamoo), Jessi (in her 30s), Lee Hyori (40s), & Uhm Jung-hwa (50s). They're called "Refund Sisters" (name came from them having such a dominate aura that they could walk into a store, demand a refund, & wouldnt be able to be refused lol) and the song is called 'Don't Touch Me,' & I highly recommend 😭💖

I'm so happy that Jessi exists, she's helping a lot of Korean women idols to be more courageous and just be themselves, and do whatever they like, I'm loving it because it's what Korea needs, people need to be themselves and don't have to care about what others think about them (maybe Jessi is not aware of it but she's making a revolution 🔥)
