I used to try slick backs and failed so many times but now I know the way to perfect your slick back is to do it on freshly washed hair ( don't do it on dry hair or it won't work), and do it In sections and it worked so good. I also used a regular brush to slick it back

@@gardensteps Typically, Type 4 hair is also extremely wiry and fragile. ... It has an “S” pattern when stretched, much like Type 3 curly hair. Type 4B hair has a less defined pattern of curls and looks more like a “Z” as the hair bends with very sharp angles. I googled it.

You gotta wet the hair, use cantu and flex gel. I have 4c and it work for me.

Thank u!! This do saved me!! Took my braids out, washed, conditioned, moisturized the entire time and SLICKED IT honey!!! Thats my new term....SLIIIICCCKKK IT!!! This style is totally within regs (im Air Force) and WORKS!!! Hopefully it last for a few days as u stated in thr follow up video!!

@@snicole1189 Take the Marley hair down so it doesn’t frizz and tangle and leave your hair tied under a scarf at night to keep the slick SLIIIICKLKK!

For anyone who isn't a fan of gel, you can also try moose or pair the castor oil with a thick creme leave in , it may take longer to set though
