I think short hair is more work than long. Just my opinion. However, everyone should have what they want and please only themselves

I have fine textured hair, and I find the daily styling easier with short hair. But I have to get it cut way more often to maintain the style xx

I agree when the short hair cut comes from the salon it is the most beautiful hair I've ever seen...however, seldom clients can keep it up....and what is left is a hot mess.... But short haircuts are the bomb.....💋💞

I stopped 3 years ago came in platinum white Have shoulder length now after pixie cuts to get rid of dye. Much easier pony tail or bun.

She asked for short style ! Crystal gave her what she asked for !! If client is Happy!! Then Crystal did her Job!! My opinion!!

This video was so relaxing to watch. Thank you for explaining in such great detail. I just love to see a stylist get in the zone and work their magic! The end result looks great, and I know it had to be a big decision for the client to cut 10+ years of growth. 💇🏼‍♀️

She can do wash and go too. While her hair was wet you can see that it was curly. Lovely cut.

Why relax her hair? Her hair seems to grow straight from the root. I have the same texture hair and my hair gets bone straight with just a blow dry. On a positive note, her hair turned out beautiful!

I may be wrong, but I believe it’s because she sweats alot from her scalp. Even though her hair is naturally straightish, it may have a puffy look to it after she sweats out the blow dry which is going to be more obvious now that her hair is short.

Her is overall naturally curly, I think. Also, she mentioned she sweats a lot, so the relaxer will help her maintain her short (straightened) style longer, in between washes.

I'll agree with you, her hair didn't look like sh needed a relaxer. I too have her grade of hair.

I was waiting for a final trim of the neck like. Also it always makes me wonder why the haidressers make some sophisticated hairdo instead just styling the natural curl (in this case) and show the client how to simply and nice style it at home (so it is corrsponding with the new shape of the cut)

I agree! But most of the time the hairstylist does this complicated styling that is sometimes impossible to do at home. They want their work to look presentable and complete and I get it. She looks greats in the video. But I think you are right, for me this cut seemed very complicated to maintain. When she gets home that cut may end up looking more like an old lady hairdo. When I see this cut, it looks great coming out of the salon, but once the hair breaks in, it doesn’t look as good because the client doesn’t know how to maintain it. I know plenty of older women with this hairdo (my mother’s friends). Later they end up cutting their own hair to maintain it short, they think it’s easy, but it looks so bad when they do it. 😂 -When my sister gets her haircut she ask him not to style it, but you have to request that. Plus you are sort of paying for them to style your hair. Best

Learning what your hair responds to is very important ( shampoos , conditioning, leave-ins, gels, serums). Short style will lay nicely when wrapped nightly. Most people think you do nothing to your hair when short . You have to maintain your hair so it’s growing healthy.

Since September 2019, I liked the color of my silver white coming through. I broke my forearm in March of 2020, so I also let it grow. Now I have natural lovely frosted hair. I hope she enjoys her hair, thank you for sharing, Sonja and Christopher

(Wanted for my elderly parent's white and my gray.) However, do you have any other purple shampoo recommendations? We both have legume (soy) allergies and this unfortunately has soy protein in it. 😟
