That is true about the teaching of Buddha Sakyamuni, but in the video, the woman was reciting Namo Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha Buddha made 48 vows. The 18th vow says whoever wishes to be reborn in Sukhawati Heaven and recites His Name ten times will be reborn there. So, the woman recites Namo Amitabha Buddha with the hope of being reborn in the Sukhawati Heaven. Hope it will straighten things out.

This is beautiful♥ there are so many people, I mean SO many, from various religions that are praying and really take their religious ritual seriously but somehow missing the core.. they pray, they do all sorts of phisycal things their religions command. But it seems like their heart and mind are still lost, as if their the essence of religions was all about physical ritual, which obviously not true. Religions should bring you peace of mind. It should lead you to spirituality.

@@timetoreason181 I know two religions well. Buddhism and Islam. Buddhism because og Tathagatha coming in no conflict with Allah's Oneness. First Islam. Both are good. ... Yes, i know Christianity is compared to Buddhism, therefore you are scorned by Allah. I under-stand in Hinduism Prophet Muhammed is called Demonic Prophet. I'd say; Prophet Muhammed might have relations to Hell Angels. Hell Angels and (AND) Paradise Angels are under Allah. And God knows best.

I read your comment, worthy of acknowledging your wisdom. So far no prayers to God/s or to Jesus have got nowhere, Covid 19 is the best test case to god and Jesus. In South Korea and the US it was the evangelical Christians who went to pray to Jesus disobeying common sense got infected and died mostly, and Jesus was nowhere to be seen to save his own members [Christians]

It wont, therefore no man stands right next to jesus but other ascended masters like the buddha and others... everyone can reach this Oneness with the universe but must give all their faith in it but also have the will (spirit) to push through for the spirit lives within and knows true righteousness.

when I started to believe in a God( all believes have an other for me they are all the same) I lost all hope , all believe , and all love. Then it was there at the sea. Something let me to a place at the sea , all alone I was there( i am a women) i walk hopeless over the sand looking to the blue of the sea, getting tired , hungry thoughtless, then coulors came, a voice came.. wonderfull a new world awoke in visions. after a breakdown. it all went in a web and find itself when needed. safe earth

@@brokenboy29 In my opinion, reciting the Buddha's name without reflecting the Buddha's great quality is useless, especially if it doesn't change your personality. Amitabha Buddha is Buddha of Great Compassion, so let his great compassion permeates your whole body while reciting his name and you also become a compassionate person. Hope it will help you.

Of course, let me help out a little! The recitation of the Buddha’s name, without following the Buddha’s teachings, without acting out of kindness and compassion and continuing to be mean and cruel, is pointless. We have to understand that the Buddha does not tell us to recite the name of the Buddha to get his attention, but rather to bring our attention to ourselves, to think about what we are doing, the sort of person we are being, and to work towards betterment and understanding. Calling the Buddha in itself is a pointless task, Buddha asks us to learn to be more like the Buddha.

I liked to look at this from this perspective that it'a actually getting her somewhere duo to her persistence she became worthy of that lesson. because of her persistence and commitment even with the wrong attitude KARMA gave her this lesson. without that 10 years of practice she probably did not even learn that. if we want something sacrifice to LORD VISHNU (working for it) must be done , forget about spirituality this is true even to maintain the physical body.
