When two adventurous, twin teenagers, Chuck and Nancy, recombine the halves of a mysterious ring, they are instantly transported to ancient Egypt...as masters of an all-powerful genie named Shazzan.
Now, with the help of the mighty Shazzan, the twins seek the wizard who lives "behind the beyond," the only person able to help them return home. But even as the teenagers pursue their quest, every evil sorcerer in the desert kingdom desires the twins' magic ring and will stop at nothing to gain the power it grants over Shazzan.

Vic Perrin, the voice master of 60's and 70's cartoon bad guys. Shazzan, Jonny Quest, Superfriends, etc.
At the end of the day, I hope Shazzan can stop hating himself so he can realize he doesn’t have to prove anything to his father. All those powers can get you only so far in life, so don’t waste them on making a monster proud. It’s ok Shazzan.

How can you not love the laugh? It's like he saying, "Give me everything you got because I've seen it all and A thousand times worse!" Therefore he's just amused.

That's true. Shazzan was very good at taunting his opponents as well. Example: one episode's villain tried to drown him in molten lava. Shazzan merely relaxed and laughed, "Ho ho, ho! The genie would like a little more hot water for his bath!" So great.☺
There is no tension in this cartoon. Shazzan is invincible

In my opinion shazzan was one of HB's better fantasy adventure cartoons, a genie facing dangerous adversaries,yet he still has fun! Maybe one day they'll make a movie of it, i hope!
Nostalgia. Nostalgia and deja vu everywhere. I wouldn't mind a remake with modern graphics. Also, it needs a proper ending.
Easily one of my favorite cartoons! Tarzan was another The Super Friends, anything with action or adventure that was for me! I loved all those old cartoons. Then when I became a mom, my daughter's favrotite cartoons were HE-MAN/SHE- RA! Those were the best and the life lessons at the end made that catoon one of the best there was
It comes on Boomerang now and again. Since DC bought it...I always assumed one half of the Shazzan ring resides in the Batcave and the other in Superman's Fortress of Solitude.
Oh Very good this series. Here in Brazil I watched with my sister.

Nope, they didn't. Series ended with no resolution.

Chuck and Nancy are still missing. The National inquirer has published the story about the now closed down cave in Maine . So, Who knows if they made it back?. Whose treasure chest was it any way where they found the broken ring.?. I haven't seen this cartoon since the late 60's.
