Hamza Yusuf is President and senior faculty member of Zaytuna College in Berkeley, California, America’s first accredited Muslim liberal arts college.
King Abdullah II, who has done more to seek religious harmony within Islam and between Islam and other religions than any other living political leader, was announced as the 2018 Templeton Prize Laureate on June 27 by the John Templeton Foundation, based in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.

He is far most not a model for any muslim... Muslim is a man as long as he stays in true guidance; and we Muslims believe any human being other than prophet Mohammad(pbuh) can go astray, consciously or unconsciously... Appraising a munafik like King Abdollah is even sufficient for one to be suspicious of true belief in Islam, let alone giving speech amongst statues and pagan symbols...Pity I loved this Hamza...but he is never a model for Muslim...Muslims have already the best model ever..They are not in search for such.

you must be a high achiever yourself I hope, also you twisted my intention and made me feel guilty for a kind gesture to give recognition to where it deserves. I have no intention of comparing him with the prophet, but his knowledge and achievement is a reflection of his teachings at least in my eye. you are entitled to you own opinion but no need to slander ones deed for you are in no position to judge.

If you had listened to everything he said over last 10 years or so on youtube, and learned even 1% from that, WITHOUT your EGO, WITHOUT YOUR ARROGANCE, WITHOUT YOUR pretentious attitude, WITHOUT you being a keyboard warrior on youtube; you would've known what he does is what we Muslims meant to do. Read Quran and see that is for anyone enough...it is sent to All..not to Hamza...anyway...He is the sort of guy whom Allah mentions of..on the Judgement day Allah will call such leaders who follow them..read Quran and learn what will happen with such so-to-say guiders...see? I dont ask u to listen to thirdparty references...I dont say hadith or anyone else...Read what Allah says about such people who decieve with using the name of Allah... Of course u will get as much as you are allowed to...Allahu Alem.

You r all fool..so not to see how those Christian pagans fool paralysed minds like you...to force muslims feel gratitude by pulling them to such planned traps...If they respected the speakers and if they really want to award muslims...they should have given the award in a Mosque...why not Mosque?
