*Episode 1 - Judgment Day (Qiyama) by Dr. YASIR QADHI **_Part 1_* 1) Every abrahimic religion believes in Qiyama. 2) Every religion believes in some sort of carnation. 3) Qayama is talked about more than the mentioned of Prophets in Quran (3x). Some said, you cannot read a page in Quran without reading direct or indirect reference of Qayama. 4) Allah proves Qiyama by giving logical arguments in Quran. 5) Allah uses many types of logical argument to prove judgment day. We will discuss seven of them: 👉 5.1) Simple stating that there is a judgment day. Many verses in Quran to affirm that: A) They ask you if the qiyama is true. It is they verily thou that it is true (7 ways to prove). _insert Ayah Reference_ 👉 5.2) Allah ask mankind to think about their own origin. _insert Ayah Reference_ A) The one who created you first time, can also create you after death. _insert Ayah Reference_ B) Allah explain the process of creation. Surah Alaq: Ayah 1 to 5 C) We created mankind from fluid and now he is arguing with us (ubayah bin ubaidalah ask prophet saw with a bread of bones). Allah responded by using the end of Surah Yaseen. D) It will be easier for Allah to create it second time. Allah is speaking to the human to help them understand (not that the first time was difficult). _insert Ayah Reference_

*Episode 1 - Judgment Day (Qiyama) by Dr. Yasir Qadhi - **_Part 3_* 👉_6) What happens (or benefits) when we believe in Qiyama._ ♦Spritual, physcological and emotional benefits cannot be put in words. 👉6.1) Sense of self morality and gives us a moral compass. Encourages dignified behaviours. 👉 6.2) Motivates us to live purposefully. Life become meaningless. ♦The first atheist _(insert name)_ wrote that when you kill God then you kill the part of your own existence. Once you remove god, your own existence is meaningless. _insert book reference_ ♦We are seeing the rise of mental disorder and depression these days. Rise of losing the purpose of life. Why is there a rise of suicide? It is going to get worst. 👉 6.3) it gives you the sense of optimism. Explicit in Quran. Surah zuha gives a sense of peace. 👉 6.4) Sense of absolute justice. Injustice has occured to all of us. ♦The pains the others or your loved ones are facing. We have to be patient to see the justicd in the Judgement day. 👉 6.5) Sense of accountability. Checks and balances. ♦Incident of Prophet saw in regards of mutilation of animal by pre islamic ways. Prophet saw, "Allah's power is more powerful than yours" _insert reference_ ♦Prophet saw said, "A person feet will not be moved at the judgment day unless he answers for 5 things: ✒His wealth money - where he got it from, where did he spend, what am I doing with my time, what am I doing with my youth. This is called Mushasba. _insert hadith reference_ 👉6.6) Manifestation of Allah hikmah. Allah is all wise. Our believe in Judgment day affirms that Allah is wise. 👉 6.7) it allows to get rid of the feeling of jealousy. Modern culture is about what everyone has, we want (Love of this world). ✒ Ayah: in multiple verses. Do not worry about this world. The beauty of this world. Do not worry about. Whatever you have will go away. Whatever Allah has will not go away. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ♦If we truly beliebes in Akirah, we are looking for a greater goal in this world. 👉 6.8) Helps us believing in other aspects of ilm ul gaib (the believe in unseen) 👉 6.9) Benefit is to prove the believer that Allah's promise is good to them. Disprove the disbelievers that will be the beginning of despair when they see the Qiyama. *************The End*************

agreed. But surely this current one is one of the utmost important. YQ does have a great series on prophet yusuf. Also we honestly do not have much detailed information about the other prophets overall so that may be why there is not much

Allah is also capable to bring the death back. _Insert Ayah Reference_ 👉5.4) Specific natural elements with in sama wati wal araz (heavens and earths). ✒Ex: bringing dead land back to life. Barren land to life. Certain times of the year Allah brings those lands to life. ✒Look at the effects of rain of how it brings the dead land to life. This is how Allah will remake you at the day of judgement. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒See the cycles around you A) Cycle of water B) Cycle of vegetation. C) Cycle of leaves. D) Mentioned the impact of fire. 👉5.5) Moral Argument - like existence of God (recent discovery). ✒Moral argument for the day for judgement. Without Qiyama - this life is unfair. ✒If there is no judgment day, that would be against the nature of Allah. ✒Ayah: rhetorical question - do you think Allah will make believers and criminals live the same. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒Ayah: Do you think whoever is doing the good deed is same as the other criminal. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒Ayah: The life and death would be the same. How evil do you think you are? _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒Examples: A) One death vs. Millions of death. B) Born rich vs. Born poor. ✒This world is without absolute justice. 👉5.6) Goes back to divine wisdom. If there was no judgment day the life would become meaningless. ✒Ayah: Qiyama is linked to the concept of abas. You are not created for a joke. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒ If Allah is wise, then there is judgement day. Allah is hakeem and kabir. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒ Allah will not do something in vein. 👉 5.7) Specific Stories. ✒Number of people challenges for the proof and Allah demonstrates it. It was a miracle for those people. ✒Story 1 - how can Allah bring the entire city bring to life after its destroyed. Allah put them to sleep (parallel to death). Allah resurected the donkey. Surah Baqarah. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒Story 2: Ibrahim AS and birds. Surah Baqrah. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒We are allowed to do healthy criticism like Ibrahim AS ✒Story 3: Esa as and resurrection of Lazarus. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒Story 4: Musa and the one who was murdered. _Insert Ayah Reference_ ✒Sheikh Alkirti Tafseer of Surah Baqarah - in these verse Allah mentioned three evidences: 1) Allah created mankind because creation of man is the greatest miracle and sign that he can create all over again. Surah Anbya as we created you first time and we will repeat it. _Insert Ayah Reference_ 2) creation of heaven and earth. 3) _insert third one_

Very beneficial and critically important topic of discussion in our faith! Jazak Allah khair brother! If you read this comment, I would like to suggest something I noticed problematic in your discussion. Though admittedly I am a person of negligible knowledge compared to yours. In the first 10 minutes you have repeatedly said that Allah has Tried to or attempted to prove judgement day or Qiyama in the Quran. I totally understand where you are coming from and what you mean but perhaps some people might criticise or hold you to these wordings. For instance saying that “Allah has tried to prove” would Nawuzubellah take away from His ability to prove something. Rather we could say that Allah HAS proven in the Quran such and such And done so in numerous ways and many places giving us examples etc. to TRY or ATTEMPT to make us understand since our understanding is so limited and varied. Perhaps He is mentioning Qiyamma over and over again providing different proofs so that maybe at least one proof or evidence will make us understand the truth and reality of it!! Wallahu Alam!
