A message for our youth, for our world and for the people who raise their voices against humiliation and discrimination, people who fought for peace and people who are still struggling for it. This song has beauty which can't be expressed in few words. This song shows diversity, differences, struggles between us and in this world but most importantly it shows that until and unless you are determined to raise your voice, to take a step against the wrong, you can make a change. And a small change can make a big difference. Heads off to Shawn and Khalid for this, this song is amazing it gives a really strong and incomprehensible emotion which is utterly beautiful.

Not only is this song underrated but the music video is aswell. I loved every single second of it as he's shining more light onto these people who are trying to make a difference in our society.

I just want to say thankyou to shawn and khalid for using their platforms to promote something soo important and serious. To say that the video was touching was an understatement. But instead a political narrative was pushed instead by using a tragedy to push political standpoints and policies on an impressionable youth. I agree with you! I was 16, I really liked this girl but, she lived 45 minutes away. I was wandering around at night, and I stumbled upon a car with key's in it, I quickly hopped in, started the ignition, hit the gas and peeled out of the parking lot. I had weed on me in the car, and a motive that changed my life forever. I had no license, just a thought of being with a girl I really liked. I drove out to her, picked her up, we had a good time, I dropped her off, and parked the car. I fell asleep int he car for a little bit, and woke up too, 3 officers knocking on the car window. This conveys such a huge message to the future youth. The way society perceives us as according to our looks, gender, or religion makes or breaks our lives. The youth may not always get what they want, but with persistence and hard-work, the heights we as the future of the world can achieve, are amazing. We can’t let people define us as according to materialistic standards because our hard work, in the end is what counts. What we do in our youth makes us who we are, and we can’t let anyone take that important portion of our lives away, because it’s so crucial. Jaida Low most religions are against women’s rights, promote violence/bigotry toward the LGBT+ community and many other horrible things. So, how would believing in that not define you? PassTheDraco I am part of the arguably most Conservative sect of Christianity Orthodoxy. I don't agree with you at all . Religion was founded to prevent violence. Religious leaders often supported women's rights when it actually fought for real solutiins. As for the LGBT people I support the ACTUAL transgender who actually have the birth defect we just don't support Transgenders getting extra rights because of it. As for gay marriage my Religion is fully against it though I am in the middle. However for the most part my Religion does not associate with politics they are at church for one reason. To worship God.

He was arrested because he wouldn't explain why he brought it to school after more than one teacher told him he could get in trouble for it, so he should put it away. If Muslims were getting arrested for clocks in the US there'd be a lot more of them under arrest

I can’t even find the right words for what i want to say now. Shawn, I have supported you for such a long time now, and this video and this song explains why. When the song first came out, I thought it was so beautiful, and it had such a beautiful message. And this video, i don’t even have the words for it. You are one of the few artists who really care, and who use their platform to inspire and help others, and that’s why i support you. Many people have an amazing voice and make nice songs, but you have such a great personality on top of that, which puts you above everyone else. this video...im out of words. i have never seen any video or anything online that was THIS diversified and THIS powerful to society today. This video shows so much...love,different culture,emotions,different ages, different disabilities etc. This is what our generation needs, we need to speak up with everything we got. We will not back down until we get what WE want, which is love, happiness, and safety. This video is truly amazing and has me in tears. :')

It's crazy how we are listening to this song again as different people. This song is legendary.

I was 10 when this song came out. Time flies by really fast. At that age, I didn't really know there was a movement about gun violence that year. It's sad how history is repeating itself again. The guns have gotten worse in our schools now. Even tho we as young people literally marched for this to stop, it's still happening. Now there is war, a genocide being made. College students are literally protesting and it's getting out of hand. I need everyone to get back to this song because Shawn spread a message. If you are coming back to this song years later, let this remind you of what we should be doing instead of having these guns, war, violence, and discrimination happen. The ending shows you, that this world wasn't meant for violence. It was meant for peace. The beginning should remind you, that this generation and our next generation, SHOULD be a great generation. Some of you are only listening to this with your ears. Listen to this with your soul, mind, and heart. Not just ears because it's a message. A message that STILL needs to be spread till this day.
