I just about cried when Shawn was getting quiet, rapidly blinking and clearing his throat. Because seeing that shows to me how much he actually cares. But it also shows that life has just been continuous for him. Like I just see 3-4 years down the track, when he’s in his 20s how much he’s achieved and is going to achieve. But from what he has achieved.... honestly I’m so proud of him. So so so so so proud. And I hope his happiness never fades away and continues grow stronger. That he’ll become happier and happier as the years pass. And that he NEVER forgets that the fandom will always be by his side. Shawn if you read this.... you’ll never be alone. Yeah. I admire him for that. I appreciate his song in my blood. I struggle with anxiety/depression. I think sometimes people forget that famous people are just people. They have flaws, pain, doubts, beliefs just like everyone else. It's easy when you have something separating ourselves to forget that. People are people.

Genuinely one of the best documentaries I've ever seen on a musician's life. 12:46 killed me, you can tell he's so grateful to be where he is today. Such a sweet, talented and beautiful guy, on the inside and out.

He took a guitar, started covers and used to upload on KZread. And the result is the he's now the most incredible artist across the worlds. He has truly become my inspiration. I love this man so much. I mean It's his era yk.

Shawn Is so humble, it's impossible not being with him. He deserves what live has wanted for him

12:10-13:00 I’ve watched HOURS of interviews from this amazing man and NEVER have I seen him so speechless. It’s amazing...everything that he has accomplished.

Im literally watching this in 2020 just because when i sew this video it reminds me that there is a reason to live. Shawn literally saved my life, like i cant thank anyone more than him. I was diagnoised with anxiety at age 11 and when i turn 13 i really thought on ending it all. But Shawn made so many songs that reached my heart, and when he made in my blood it made me really emotional because i had never in my life felt to connected to a song that way. Im am much better now but not to the point where i am totally cure but with his music i know i can get farther.

When I was 14 I heard the song “Stitches” and had no idea who Shawn Mendes was. I loved the song and that was all I had listened to for months and then I stopped. Two years ago I heard “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” and it honestly surprised me when I found out that it was Shawn. I immediately fell back in love with his music and haven’t stopped. I’ve listened to every song he’s very written and every song he’s every sung since the first time he started. His songs have pushed me through times of depression and times of stress when I didn’t think I could take anymore. The fans were so amazing because of how much they supported him and I realized that the Mendes Army is not like any other fan base and I WANTED to be a part of it. I officially committed myself to being a part of the Mendes Army on my birthday two years ago... May 9, 2016 will forever be a day that has changed my life. I know Shawn will probably never see this but I’m happy to say that we love you. I’m 16 1/2 and I can relate to you so much. I just wanted to say thank you Shawn for continuing to try even when you thought you’d never get better. Thank you Shawn for writing “Life Of The Party”, the song that officially began your career as an artist. Thank you Shawn for unconditionally loving each and every one of your supporters. Thank you Shawn for making a difference in my life. You will always be associated with the change that will forever affect me. Love you.❤️

Shawn got emotional….that hit hard….I get emotional too but I didn’t think he would that way too being a pop star…Shawn, you are the best. Don’t forget all of those best moments, of what started you like this.
