Congrats to Shawn! His reaction was exactly how I'd picture it with his steady and calm demeanor! You could tell once he knew you weren't pulling his leg that he was just super appreciative! - it's one of the many reasons why I genuinely enjoy watching ALL you guys. Nobody pretends or tries to be overdramatic - the natural drama unfolds as they skillfully do some epic recoveries. Making it look easier than they really are!

You can replace almost anything in a shop but loyalty, dedication, experience and talent are the toughest. Showing respect in a direct way helps keep the right hand attached when difficult times occur. Thank you for share this experience.

Ive had great friends that are native Americans. One in the navy, he was an awesome guy. Seminole from florida. The other is where I live he was in the marines. A klamath/modoc.

Loved the digs at Matt and the overlanders. I had a land rover discovery 2, lifted, light bar, snorkel, awning and roof tent, never had a winch, never used it once for camping or overlanding. Did use it off road though so it wasn't a complete mall crawler pose.

That first trail would be fun on an MX bike with those high banked bends. It was like a sandy version of a bobsleigh run. It would have been boring for Rory though, seeing as there wasn't 100 foot cliff with eroding edges, and barely wide enough for the Jeep. I still have cold sweats when I think about Rory and Shaun's close call on the Kane Creek trail.
