Ridley Scott sends a lot of people into space without reminding them to make good choices.

I will never forgive Ridley for that. Beautiful work.

This track gets me through long writing assignments. It's also kinda spooky, which I like.

I really wish Shaw would have stayed alive, she was awesome. The characters in the next one paled in comparison they were throw away. Shaw IMO was the new Ripley.

Her sympathy got the best of her. She saw the robot as good while Ripley always distrusted them. But, you got to remember as a prequal she had to fail in order for Ripley to exist.

Yeah, I once heard sleep as the cousin of death.. Shaw thought she was going "home" to meet her Father and hug him hard in warm embrace. Space is cold, @Simon Mandel

I too feel it was a huge mistake to kill off Shaw. Her character could have been as rich and multi-faceted as that of Ripley. I looked forward to seeing how Ridley Scott would develop her story. Very disappointing that her story was discarded in favor of jump scares and gore. As to this music, my thanks. I have really been missing the love of my life, who died when I was 17, in a firefight in Vietnam in 1968. I guess this is somewhat normal for people in later life stages to circle back around to these old losses. Somehow this track puts me in a state where I can meditate on his life and what I hope will be a reuniting, somehow, on another plane.

I have visited new lows lately, and this was very comforting to listen to on my way back to the realm of the senses. Thank you for inviting us to Shaw's Paradise. Mesmerizing. Haunting. Mysterious. Elizabeth Shaw is beyond aliens. She was the only character who wanted to know the universe from the very beginnings. Her faith is beyond religions. She had absolutely nothing to do in covenant. Last survivor of the Prometheus is still searching 🙌🏻

This music gives me the same vibes as when I stare at the clear night sky. So mysterious. On the one hand, it makes me insanely curious and excited, but on the other hand I am terrified of what could be out there.

I love that all the sounds stay within the same noise range, a lot of soothing music on youtube always has some random high pitch mixed in with mainly low pitch sounds and its annoying but this is a perfect 2 hour sleep song with no random high pitches or weird transitions, just perfect....thank you! Genuinely

I keep returning to this...So haunting. Beautiful. Soothing. The low hum in the dark calms me and allows me to embrace it.

This was Noomi"s best movie role. I have never seen anything like her portrayal of Dr. Shaw.Staggering even beyond her Dragon Tattoo.

I seriously doubt it. The role is extremely poorly written. A scientist saying "that we don't know, but we choose to believe"? A woman making a self-made C-section? And, what's more, running and jumping several minutes later? In fact, Scott did the character a huge favor by killing her.

Agreed. The 2-dimensional, man-hating dragon tattoo character only uses a fraction of Noomi's talent. Shaw is full of heart and humanity. Maybe they'll pull a Ripley, and clone her.

Damnit, I'm listening to these for hours, and hours, and hours. It helps me concentrate like nothing else before, I use it to sleep and when I just want a background sound. I need help.

I remember working night shift and finding this song. I'd listen to it while it was slow at work while doing homework.

I guess a wholesome story would have made the Hollywood sort envious. They're can't hold life together much less travel to meet god so we get rape dragons and ax murders. They are mostly pedophile atheists anyway. I enjoyed the criticisms made on red carpet about how the real Hollywood is all homeless and the "stars" have to run away and hide from the workers.

In Ridley Scott's original draft called "Paradise", Shaw was alive and played a significantly larger role. I think the studio pressured Scott to do just another gore fest full of things we've seen before, because a smart film is less likely to make piles of money. David Cove.....I mean Alien Covenant to me was a big disappointment.

The first time I watched it, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I started to appreciate the depth of the movie as I continued to think about it, watch KZread videos about it and watching it a second and third time

With all my respect, I think Sigourney Weaver earned her next movies as Ripley after first Alien movie where Noomi Rapace suffered a bit to do the same for sequels. And Michael Fassbender did the same thing where Sigourney Weaver did at Alien. Every first movie is a bit of a pilot, producers and directors try to evaluate the reaction of audience and decide what to do in next movies. Surely, Fassbender as David made an impact as a great "artificial person" role in franchise. Shaw was not looking tough or passionate enough on screen like Ripley or David. I think that's why the serie was headed into that direction. Alien movies need some badass characters. By the way, this sound is amazing, thanks.

The music is beautiful! The only thing that distracts from that is that Shaw died such a terrible death in the movie. In my mind I can't combine the beauty of the music with this idea. I know, it's just a movie, but it makes me feel sad. Must be getting old :D

If you want some positive motivation for alien life on a clear day or mildly cloudy day if you want to lay down in the grass visualize space and know it's up there it always help me say we're not alone in the universe.

Shaw was so Admirable in PROMETHEUS and then we learn she’s killed off by android David in ALIEN COVENANT. Ripley was so heroic in ALIEN and ALIENS but then she’s killed off in ALIENS 3 and is replaced by some floozy version of her in ALIEN RESURRECTION. Rest in Peace and enjoy this as your funeral dirge.
