Shavuot and the Coming Kingdom | Asher Intrater

Ойындар

WATCH today as Asher shares a special message about Shavuot, Feast of Weeks or Pentecost, and its connection to Yeshua’s ascension into heaven. He looks at the passages from Acts 1-2 from a slightly new perspective.
When Yeshua spoke to His disciples for 40 days about the kingdom of God, the Temple was still standing. They expected Him to simply overthrow the Roman government, be crowned as King, take up His throne in Jerusalem and begin to rule and reign.
But, God’s plan was much bigger; it was about more than just the restoration of the nation of Israel. His plan required an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that would emanate from Yeshua Himself in order to be a witness in all the earth in preparation for the restoration of all things.
• He ascended
• He received all power and authority
• He poured out His Spirit on us
Yeshua’s exalted place in heaven is not just as the eternal Son of God, but also as the glorified Son of Man, so that He could receive the Holy Spirit as one of us and then pour out His Spirit to give us the power needed to extend His Kingdom. His authority to give the power to us is connected to our submission to His ultimate authority in humility as His representatives in the earth.
The ascension of Yeshua and the empowering of the Ekklesia together is the necessary vehicle for ushering in the kingdom of God.
Yeshua represents us before God in heaven and then we represent Him in the earth. The remnant in every nation who have received the Holy Spirit are the ones who are advancing His kingdom and preparing for a global awakening in preparation for His return to rule and reign.
Let’s reflect on this truth and allow it to impact our lives.

Thank you for this Shavuot message! It brought the "loose strands" in my understanding of this feast together! The High Priest has to be "one of us", a man to intercede for us. Yeshua is that man, who does not have to first offer and confess his own sin before standing as our representative. No He is perfect man, the 2nd Adam!! Hallelujah!! Tikkun - powerful! Declaring what YHWH has said. I believe that in "mystical" manifestation. 🙌

In a commentary by Dennis Prager, his reason for not eating milk and meat together was because mother's milk is to bring life to her infant. Meat comes from dead animals. You cannot mix life and death. That of course is not a direct quote, but that was my take away which helped me understand the thoughts behind the commandment of not boiling a kid in his mother's milk.

I loved this meeting as I listened here in U.S. But did I hear right that the pastor said we (gentiles) would be second-class citizens in the coming kingdom? haha It didn't sound right.😇😇

Shalom Asher, Scripture mentions the appearance of Yeshua 11 times between His resurrection and His ascension into Heaven on the 40th day, with one appearance (to Paul) that occurred after His ascension.

We do you not celebrate ahavuot according to Torah, "on the day after the Sabbath", which this year would begin the Saturday evening the 15th and conclude on Sunday evening the 16th?

Why would Yeshua have needed to descend into hell? Are Sheol and hell one and the same? If so, what is meant by Abraham’s bosom? Thank you!

Hi Sheol is HADES the abode of the dead. And Abraham’s Bosom is part of Sheol where Jesus went . Hell, Gehenna, is as yet uninhabited!
