Shaun was the true meaning of a team player, who embraced his role for the Warriors, which was basically playing good defense, and hitting those mid-range jumpers when need be. They basically helped revive his NBA career, until he eventually retired, too. Couldn't have happened to a better guy, whose career should have been over, after he snapped his leg in half.

such an important player coming of the bench, we love you Shaun!!!
One of the best mid range shooters I’ve seen.
Good to hear Livingston talk about these stars-particularly KD. KD has such a bad rep somehow, but works and loves hoopin. The details about their footwork and changes of balance, etc. Additionally I like the way Shaun was talking about "go do you" as a team, we are a team, but go do you. Sounded like Kerr empowerment for sure.

Kd has a bad rep bcuz the two biggest stars fan bases dislike him. Curry fans don’t like him because kd joined was better than Steph and won two FMVP then left. @@camerondavies8442 This is the main reason he's as hated as he is. So many fanbases hate him. KD even tried to give away the finals MVP to Steph in 2018. I honestly can see why the Thunder fans are disgruntled, but Cavs/Lebron fans just have to hold the L. The Warriors fanbase were shitting on the Thunder fanbase after the Thunder lost the WCF that year. For KD to then join GSW is like getting a deep cut and pouring alcohol in it for OKC's fanbase. It's not at all about him losing to the Warriors and then joining them like most people say. That's just for OKC's fans.
Shaun being 6’7 / 6’8 being able to be the backup(best backup pg in league at the time) Steph and guard the 1-3 comfortable was a HUGE luxury and key piece
I for one thought the KD GSW years was some of the most beautiful basketball I've ever seen. I enjoyed watching every game. Back in the 90s during those Bulls years I was like "why watch they gonna win anyways" and missed out on some of alot of great games. I didn't want to be like that again with these GSW years. Also I'm from the DC area so I'm kind of bias when it comes to KD lol.
At this point Stak can't even pretend to be paying attention to his guests 🤦🏾♂️

Happy to hear a former teammate say it, since people never believe it when KD says it himself. He went to GS because he liked how they play and wanted to be part of that. People also forget that he went there after they just lost. He still went anyway.

Iggy said it too. Nobody on the Warriors have bad things to say about KD after his tenure there, not even Draymond. @@introvertedblackgirl I think we don't get to decide what a player is supposed to do. We watch, root for them, and enjoy the game; we don't decide what players do with their careers.
