In 1978 BR announced a film called Mahabharat starring Dharmendra as Arjun, Hema as Draupadi and Shashi Kapoor as Krishna…Later he told in an interview that subject was too big to show in 3 hours, hence decided to make TV serial .

Ravi Chopra was son of B.R. Chopra . He was not a music director but a film director .

It may be true that all his co-stars those worked with him is friends and never had any problem or conflict with them. But once he black mailed an innocent and very sober singer of film industry and threatened him to enter into a contract to sing solely only for him. On singer's rejection he threatened him to destroy his career. The singer was MOHAMMAD RAFI, he even challenged Rafi Sahab that soon he will CREATE a new singer in his place and that was Mahendra Kapoor. Now all of you know that he can't be compared with Mohd Rafi even in the least manner.

On the contrary, it's a false allegation. BR never challenged the greatest Tansen of Bollywood- He simply couldn't !! Rafi Sahab literally ruled Bollywood for 25-30 years. In the history of Bollywood, there is no such singer who sang in almost all genres- Be it a Qawalli, pop, patriotic, ghazal, comedy, sad, high pitch, low pitch, soft tone, geet, thumri, semi-classical, traditional, bhajan. Not only that, he excelled in each genre. Rafi Sahab was a Saint. He even sang all songs of the movie " Dosti" for just one Rupee for each song, just to give a break to Laxmikant-Pyarelal. That was his character. You can check with Pyarelal-Ji OR son of Tarachand Barjatya-Ji. Rafi Sahab's policy was to charge full amount which was equal to Lata-Ji's charges for any big banner movie. He would charge less sometimes even free for low budget movies. When BR was making Waqt. The first song was recorded in Rafi Saab's voice, the title song, "Waqt se din aur raat". When he was paid, he demanded full amount but BR said, Rafi, "you have charged my friend much less for a this particular movie". Rafi Saab said, that it was a low budget film, that's why he gave him a break. Then from that day, Mahender Kapoor-Ji sang for all his movies.

Yeh aadmi se aaj Kal ke Bollywood walon ko seekhna chahiyay to MAKE ORIGINAL AND STOP COPYING. Remake bhi plagiarism ( copy / chori) hai. Aisi copy kar kar ke Saari industry Barbaad kar di hai! Aur BR CHOPRA didn't even copy himself ! Each movie was a new story, new creation. Kahan Gaye yeh log?. Kahan se aaye plagiarists of today! 😐
