the drill sharpening does not need a rotating movement to make a relieved curved surface, the way he is sharpening the bit is fine, with two facets, one lower than the other, the reason a factory bit is curved, is it is easier for them as they have a cam that will move the bit, instead of grinding in two positions... there is relief on his way of sharpening ...... are you familiar with the proper back relief of a drill bit and how the size of the bit will change the relief angle ? please let the other viewers and commenters know ..... I can do this by hand. I don't see 1-2 mm sharpening anywhere.

I used to do from 1.5 mm to about 55 mm by hand and eye ! Sometimes used a square to check Chisel point in dead centre and angle on cut edges same on larger sizes

во первых для правки камней существуют алмазные карандаши! во вторых, на заводе заточка осуществляется станком при изготовлении, а не рабочим (заточником) и в третьих - угол заточки между двумя сторонами сверла должен быть 120 градусов или по внешней стороне относительно оси - 60 градусов с обеих сторон, еще в четвертых и в пятых : режущие кромки должны быть одинокавой длины и абсолютно не иметь "пятки" - она должна быть ниже режущей кромки ну и конечно не допускать цвета "побежалости" - металл горит или отпускается...

Точно так же можно болгаркой наточить, безо всей этой х..еты . При наличии прямых рук, а дуракам и эта "приспособа" не поможет.

Une technique reprise et reprise qui ne montre pas grand chose sauf à ne pas faire. Je perce tout les jours, donc j'affûte mes forets régulièrement et je peux vous affirmer que des méthodes nous en avons essayé et rien ne vaut la bonne vieille méthode d'affûtage. Il est aussi important d'avoir de bons forets.
