I have one of these BS alarms. Little word of advice for those trying to navigate difference in setting 3pm from 310am or 327pm, etc-- just spend the extra $2/3 for a better alarm. 💯

I got two of these for my kids’ bedrooms. I’m having a hard time setting the alarm on with the switch. It’s 7:23 pm right now, but the alarm is set for 6:30. If I turn the alarm on, it beeps, even though it’s an hour later than the alarm is set for. I cannot figure this out. I need a functional alarm to teach my kids some responsibility. Any tips?

Interesting.. I was just checking mine and it does the same thing. It appears to have nearly and hour and a half window after the hour hand that sets off the alarm. I guess they want it to go off for an hour and half to make sure you get up and turn it off. I do see that as kind of an issue if you would like to go to bed 13.5 hours before you want to get up. I dont really see any way around this.. Just have to wait til after 8 to set the alarm for 6:30.. Not the most convenient .. I wish I had a better solution. Take care Lindsay and be Blessed :)

Hi Lindsay, if you are adventurous enough, you could remove the front plastic panel, shift/push the alarm need to one hour forward and secure it back. I am sure there are other DIY video teaching this method.

I had this one when I went to MCOLS in JROTC and I loved it because it worked as it was supposed to, cheap and easy to set up also because it was easily concealable (we weren't supposed to have alarm clocks)

The react to light.. if the paint is right.. You can shine a bright flashlight on them for a few seconds.. that should do the trick

I don’t understand how you set a certain time when the alarm only has one hand. If it’s just at the 6- is it going to go off at 1:30, 2:30, 3:30...etc

Hey, Steph, It will actually go off every 12 hours. The alarm goes off when the hour hand reaches the alarm hand. I hope this helps

Hey Patty, thanks for asking. The timer goes off when the Short hour hand comes to the red alarm hand. So, if you want to set it for 4:27, you would set the red hand between the 4 and the 5 slightly less than half way.

What is the purpose of the gear that you can rotate above the gears for alarm and time? Mine has it

hrmmm.. mine does not have one.. It has a switch for alarm on and off. On the top it has a button for snooze/light

Okay, the red "hand" turn that to a little more than halfway between the 3 and the 4 and make sure the alarm feature is "on". I hope this helps :) have a great day!

There is no am or pm setting for the alarm clock so it's 50/50 chance if it's going to go off in the morning or in the evening.

It has not specific AM or PM.. just turn the alarm hand to 9.. it will go off at 9PM or 9AM.. just have to make sure you set it after 9:01 PM to go off at AM :)

Hi Areeb, in my video, I have recently shared how to overcome this. What I did was, I use a magnet, to magnetized it. hopefully this is the problem. If it is electronic problem, well, need to get a new one.

There is no way to set alarm for Am only.

Just set the red hand to the desired time.. if you want it to go off at 5:30 you put the red hand halfway between 5 and 6 and then push the button up

@@ETPCYT we have done this and it goes off an hour later after we set it. For example we set it to go off at 6:30am put in the right spot setting it at 7:30pm the night before only for it to go off an hour to two later. this clock doesn't make sense

Sometimes I check if the alarm is working.. Just turn the alarm to "on" and and twist the alarm hand to the hour hand to make sure it goes off.
