This video is great because I didn't understand more than half of the technical stuff you were describing, but enough to be blown away about this television I had already decided to buy. The last time I bought a television, George W. Bush was President of the United States, and we bought a 42"1080p Sharp Aquos for about $1500. This one, I'm getting for about $450 and it may be the last television I ever buy. I had no idea it had so many features. I recently bought--really for my wife--the latest, greatest Apple TV unit because I'm still rockin' the PS4 and it's ending it's functional life as a general media unit, but with this television maybe I don't even need that. Thank you so much for this thorough and technical review that is nevertheless easy to understand.

I later realized, it's a PS3. Anyway, bought the television two weeks ago, and have rarely left the living room since. Next I'm getting an external drive for it so we can record shows.

No, it is brighter on the edges actually, but due to the VA panel/angle it appears as if it is brighter in the center. Just bear in mind that uniformity of LCD TVs vary from unit to unit.

is it true that the corners of the screen are darker on a white background?

All direct lit TVs will have that to some degree. It’s never usually noticeable in actual content. Edge lit TVs are usually even worse for it. The only brands that are generally very good at selecting panels/backlight arrays without it are midrange-high end Sony and high end Panasonic models.

Does it move 60 fps? Our current sharp is 1080p 60hz but it moves like it’s 120 hz

Yes, it supports 4K60 content, max. refresh rate is 60 Hz.

Quantum dots is ability to display wider color gamut which is used in HDR content. This TV has it.

Darko i have important questiuon. At 3:54 when you see red Mini Car. When camera is mowing we see terrible black color shaking on car parts like lamps etc. Is possible to remove this artifacts?

@@andriiduvalo6543 And this cards right now are terribly cheap as this is a bit older technology. I was looking for some USB stick on Argos in UK and showed me as well the SD cards. I was very suprised to see that cards with 64GB of storage costs little over 10 pounds. This is literally like for free.

Hisense U7QF is still one of a kind TV in its price category, but now there are more interesting models such as this Sharp or TCL C728 (2021) or new C735.

Philips is definitely not on the list of recommended brands from my point of view, mainly because of unstable UI and picture quality that does not stand out compared to competitors.

What do you mean by direct LED? I have a Sony Bravia 2017 LED 4K HDR Android TV and it's still looking amazing but might get new tv. Is this TV gonna be better? My TV definitely does not have that black leaking on the corners

These TVs better be cheap because the HiSense u8k is putting out 1500nits and 1000 dimming zones with OLED like blackness. The TCL QM8 is putting out about 2000nits with very little blooming and great motion...I was hoping Sharp could compete but it doesn't look like their even going to get close to Mini Dot TVs in the U.S.A.

The worst TV model (LC-32HG5342E) ever regardless of its size. The Sharp Customer Support sucks. No reply, no support and yet, nobody answers your calls. Do no buy it.
